That Color's gonna be a Classic in California soon. http://www.autobloggreen.com/2009/03/25/california-to-reduce-carbon-emissions-by-banning-black-cars/2
That is extremely nice, in black, with those wheels. Smooth car and a keeper i say! Hmm depends.......
Javier, just wanted to say (and I'm not a Porsche-phile by any stretch) that that is probably the sharpest-looking 993 I've seen. Beautiful!
Thanks for the kind words... I love my car and feel very fortunate to have it. Here it is during a run to the desert. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Had a chance to take the F40 out on the track yesterday. My young passenger brought along a video camera: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiXTgaC0LdI Great fun.
Epic thread! Unfortunately I have no worthwhile contributions. Maybe one day... Thanks for sharing everyone P.S. For what it's worth here is our 911. Almost 3000km in +/- a month (picture taken in the "Lago di Garda" in Italy): Image Unavailable, Please Login
+1, same. I always try to think like that..... "Maybe one day i will" Keep the great stories coming guys.
Fired up our Le Mans MK-IV yesterday. Over the winter we rebuilt the carbs and distributer. She ran great. Took her for a long drive and blew out the cobwebs. She's ready to rack up more miles. Started up P 4/5 and took her on a nice drive. All's perfect and she's good to go. She didn't want to come back to the garage. It was a beautiful day in NY. Spring weather isn't too far away and the rain has washed away the winter road salt.
Hey Jim, around where do you cruise? I live a little over the boarder in Ridgefield and am looking for some new cruise routes.
Cool. I'll have to check them out. Last summer I had been cruising 22 down as far as somers, but I didn't have a gps then and my sense of direction is not the best so I stuck to the main road. Thanks
Don't let the thread die. I would have thought with Spring time upon us I would have seen some cars dusted off and out for a short shake the cob webs off drive. Come on! I could post pictures of other marks, but that would just bore this Ferrari crowd. More "Drive Them" pictures please. Beautiful weather here today. I will head home early today and take the covers off a car or two and have some fun.
In 2001 Don and I flew to westchester, looked at a daytona previously inspected by gary B, gave the broker a check, put our bags in the trunk, and drove it back to san Diego. A long write up was in FML, I wont repeat it here. we had a great time, stopped at WalMart in Shrevport to buy pliers and hook up the radar detector, drove through TX, and home to SD. The last photo is for my friends who think my cars are always dirty.Malcolm Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
