Did anyone take pictures of the food Desert Fire put out? It was really amazing. Thanks again to Tony from Desert Fire for all his efforts and a great lunch after the event. The plan is to keep having the lunch gather right after the event for those who want to stick around. It was a great time.

Christian, brilliant photography! Do you go to Ferrari events often? Maybe you could give me some pointers.

Here's the video I cobbled together from a few sources. The audio is fair to poor depending on how hard Jerod Shelby pushed the accererator
I was using my Nikon D90 for the video in the car, I learned after the fact the darn camera's audio quickly overloads or saturates the audio front end, which then fully distorts the audio at the digital level. It's too bad because the sound this car makes inside the cabin is pretty amazing. I reworked the audio as much as possible to pull out what Jerod was saying during the ride.

If you do watch the video, there are a few times that I have the HP gauge in the viewfinder. Keep an eye out for how often the meter hits past the peg!!
ahem -the gauge only goes to 1180 HP! This was the best ride I've ever taken in ANY vehicle, period!!! The video can't convey the sense of speed or G-force I experienced. This same car will accelerate to 205 mph in 1 KM, if what Jerod Shelby is saying is true. --Well, my butt in the seat-meter tells , IT TRUE!!
    OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope you all like it!!

BTW, many thanks to everyone at RTC aka Redmond Town Center, the staff, and of course security for the events every week.
I had a great breakfast at Ruby's--thanks to Lisa, mgr

Special thanks to Tony, managing partner at the Desert Fire Restaurant. Folks, Tony and crew made us a fresh batch of Chocolate chip cookies, pots of coffee, a full continental breakfast bar-including fruits-and at no cost to anyone at E@RTC.
Again, thank you Tony!!!! A great sponsor of RTC. I wish I had pictures to show everyone how generous Tony is with us bunch of car nuts.
    :)

The last bid is an interesting number because whoever was bidding still needed to hit the reserve and they didn't try $800,001.00 to see if the reserve was $800k.

Very interesting...at that price, another $6k is only 1% more... I have a feeling we'll see a private deal made, outside of the auction.

We canceling the event at RTC this weekend due to expected rain. All the weather services are predicting 90% that morning. For those interested, we'll still get together at Desert Fire at 11:30 AM. The tech session at Lamborghini Bellevue is at 1:30 and anyone is welcome to attend. I just need a head count if you haven't sent me a PM already.

It was snowing here in Kirkland yesterday. I just read a weather report where winter average temperatures this year have so far been two to five degrees below average here in the Northwest.

The new E@RTC website is up!!! A very special thanks to Michael "CreativeFactor" for doing such an amazing job. Michael has the balloon white Gallardo! We will post news both here and on the site, which also links back to here. We didn't want to steer people away from this site. www.exoticsrtc.com
