Funny thing is, that engine is more capable than the V12 in the real Daytona...lol.

I saw it in the NY section of craigslist, It looks like a chevy smallblock with a multiport injection, Very similar to the LT-1 engine but with a distributor as opposed to an optispark that the lt1/4 had

Now if it was a really good replica he should add a few more wires to make it look like a twelve. It probably does have more power than the 12

Probably has more cubic inches too! Ferrari has always gotten a maximum amount of power per CC. And you have to look at timeframe as well. Nowadays you can chip up a 4 cylinder Subaru to about 600 horsepower. Back in the era of the Daytona the BIG v8's were gettin' what about 450 HP max?

I guess they do not have to do an engine out for an oil change.

Cost all of nothing, but then if someone thought that was a Ferrari, then you could also get them to believe that a push-rod engine had timing belts.

Yup its a Replica. Chevy small block engine. Corvette engine of course. Miami Vice used a replica till the show made money for a real testarossa... Classic just Classic....

Ferrari killed the Replica market. Ferrari Lawyers attacked replica companies...
