Anyone have some nice upclose pics of the dash/button/center console area? Getting ready to refinish some buttons for a customer and want to have my graphics designer make up new symbols/letters, etc for the buttons. His buttons are sticky and impossible to read. Looking for upclose nice pics of the buttons to show the letters, symbols, numbers etc to give to me graphics company. Here is what his look like presently......

Do you have it from a front view showing the symbols/letters on each button?

PS - Love that interior color...

Kee-riist...! The sticky plastic issues on the 348/355 dating from the 1990s is still a problem for the Italians? On a 2004 vehicle? Is this what owners of new Maserati's have to look forward to in a couple of years?

I don't know what this guy has done to the buttons but I have a 2002 M Spider that I drive around only with the top down and the buttons look as good as they did new. In fact, I was thinking about this exact issue last week and thought the interior held up remarkably well.

The only thing that mine has showed over time is the chrome edging around the air ducts is flacking a bit. Otherwise, the interior looks perfect after 7 years.

Is it true that these deteorate if you clean with anything other than plain water? (I never use liquids around electrical bits such as buttons, etc., but I guess some people do).

I have refinished parts on a 2006 430 recently, so yes the problem continues..

Another common problem is the flaking chrome around the air vents..
    Great pic---Thanks

Nothing you can do will prevent the problem, eventually most all will go bad

Yes, it does speedup the deteriation problem..
