    People! Be patient!

Those photos were telephotos, shot low and from a pretty good distance. That tends to distort what may be a very different looking car in the flesh. I wouldn't put too much weight on that PS they provided either. That front valance (and what they filled in for the back) is still pure speculation and the wheel gap is likely one of the last things to be determined in final tuning.

But that said, it shows some promise with curves. Fingers crossed!

Nice 'Dinoesque' rear and roof-line. Looks like Enzo taillights and wheels. Lower front valence looks too much like the 360/430 look and feel.
599 type headlights are nice but the lines of the car would flow more if the headlights were covered / body color. I'll lay odds this is a 'Frankenstein' composite mule and not the final design.

This was posted in the General Discussion forum... thought I'd put the photos here in case anyone is shopping!
Last shot is a rendering. This is from the Auto Express UK web site posted 3/27/09 (Text: Jamie Fretwell / Photos: Lehmann)

Feast your eyes on Ferrari's all-new F430 replacement! Spied being rolled onto the back of a truck in Italy, these are the first pictures of the Prancing Horse's new entry-level model – the F450.

As you can see, the new model looks very different to the current car with a pair of sweeping side air vents, which have been enlarged to cool the improved engine and brakes.

In a bid to compete with the Lamborghini Gallardo, the new car will get a larger 4.5-litre V8 engine – hence the name – putting out around 500bhp thanks to modified mechanicals including a higher rev limit.

It will also get a new gearbox too, in the shape of the California’s seven-speed double clutch unit. This is likely to modified to suit the mid-engined car’s sportier demeanour.

The F450 may even be the first car to incorporate KERS. Used on Formula One racers, the kinetic energy recovery system turns energy saved from braking into extra power.

Expect the F450 to make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September with UK sales starting in 2010.

While pretty good, it is infected with the big butt disease that ALMOST ALL cars have today. Most cars today look like the designer of the front never met the designer of the back throughout the design process!

I like these lines and curves. It reminds me of the "Millechili" concept (NOT the "pimped" & shortened Enzo) that was developed in a design contest by Ferrari a few years ago, which was the concept with the most potential (IMO). Anyone agrees?

I ordered one in march 2007 and the dealer promissed me the first F142 in Spain.
( but i took the spider ) So the car will be delivered +/- 6 months after the first coupe in Spain.
I hope just before summer 2010.
Thanks to Ruud & Michel, friends from the dutch section, they shopped him in red wich will probably my choice.

Little Alfa influence there as well...perhaps. Maybe Lambo on the front as well. I think it is in the right direction.

    OHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
Thanks. Too bad the new successor won't look like that. I like the shape, but not the paint job. Does anyone think it migth look like this?? I really like the shape, but not the back. I can see the protruding Cali tail lights. Ferrari should stick to quad tail lights. It looks great low, but I hate the Cali mirrors and I think the roof comes up a little too much. Other than that, it looks great.

Welcome to FChat. :) We'll have F470 spy photos as soon as the first F450 is on the ship.

The drawing above looks better than the photo of the pre-production model, if that's what it is. The roofline looks tacked on, kind of like the last gen Mustang. If it goes into production as it stands, it's going to be a nice spider but an awkward coupe.

I don't know about that...looks more like an F430 rendering to me?
