Why in the world did Tamiya make the lettering on the F50 tires white though....

Nope. I used to collect everything exotic, but when I got to about 125 1:18's and decided that there were just too many to keep up with. As I am a Ferrari fanatic, I chose to focus on collecting only them. I've sold off all the non-Ferrari cars, which took me down to about 40 1:18 Ferraris. Currently, I'm back up to 76, I'll probably add a half dozen or so this year - seems to be about the norm now.

I sent you the link... but they can be bought here: http://www.autoartmodels.com/web/product/en/312?antiCache=1238287930352DC09EF9F12D90EAD89DD53BCE5D8615B

2819 GT - The Breadvan (before it got the Le Mans nose put back on.)

Do you have the red GTO, or the blue? Aside from the Breadvan, the 250 GTO is the hardest of the group to find...

    Roy,
I don't see a 1:18 F50 at the back?! Did you choose not to have it?

Beautiful collection by the way. For now I am strictly a 1;18 collector, but I am tempted to get the 288GTO...:)

That's only half of my 1:18's... the other three display cases - including and open and closed F50 - are on the wall to the left of the cars in these pictures

WOW. A Yellow and a Black F50 GT (in addition to the red) - amazing. All those McLarens... A pair of FXX's... just wow. Did I miss the 288 GTO?

288GTO are not customized.. they are resin models in 1/12 scale... it was released by Model Work Shop, 1 year prior to Tamiya release their 1/12 288GTOs....

F50GT is also resin model by Model Work Shop, but it was sold out a long time ago...

I have the Red One. I originally had the Blue one but a serious big time Diecast collector talked me out of it when I used to have a Diecast business a few years back. I also used to have the F50 but sold it to a fellow F-chatter. I figure in time I will eventually buy them again.

Right now I am into something more at the moment than building my collection. Besides getting my finances under control, I have been getting somewhat serious about my Photography hobby. But that will become very serious when the finances are squared away. I just need to get a new computer with the propper software and another lens to be where I want to be for the photography. I have my connections in play.
