Well, I'll have to see it from more angles but at initial glance, I like the look more than either the 430 or 360.

I definitely see Zonda in the roofline and cut along the top of the door. They definitely used an R8 as the base for that rendering.

It is definitely less subtle than a 430 or 360.

Those "hips" looks a lot better IMO, good job. Better than the 430's "tacked on" look as well. Flattening the rake of the windshield would integrate better.

I've heard, and I'm sure a lot of you have heard, that they is a rumor that the F430 successor will have a retractable hardtop like the California!!! Yikes!! What is Ferrari thinking? I pray to god that that's just a rumor and not a fact. I'm sure all the purists out there know that there should be a fixed hardtop coupe, and a softtop spider!! That's how it should be, not both in one model!!

Look at the photos of the mule. The one thing that is clearly visible is the roofline, and it is NOT a retractable hardtop.

Does the rear window/C pillar show the flying buttress styling cue from the 599? If so, could this be the hidden rear intake for the engine? I guess we need more pictures.

If this is the final version of the F430 replacement, then I am glad that I got my hands on a 16M. I have been told that the F430 replacement will have more CF and have a lot of simillarities with the Enzo, which is some what true especially in the rear end of the car. I still believe that the final version will somewhat look different, but I guess lets wait for the official release.

Hard to tell from spy shot w o bumpers if it looks good. As far as the p shop rendition, I can't really get behind it. Whatever happened to these? I love the fact that the red car lacks side view mirrors. It amazes me that they didn't disappear together with flip up lights.

Remember besides the Mule photo, the rest are Photoshop with Audi R8 wheels. The gentleman on the above post has already stated it will be a stunning car.

It's a picture of an Audi R8 that that has been photoshopped to resemble the spy photos. While the artist did a nice job, it's impossible to hide the proportions of the Audi underneath. I don't doubt that the actual car will present and carry itself quite a bit differently than what the artist attempted to convey with the digital mock up.

+1 Exactly correct, by the way "+1" was specifically for you as I know how much you missed it the last time I got banned.

    It does look better red.

The reservation that I have is that the crease line that starts at the front of the car collides with the crease line that starts at the rear of the car, creating a sort of "triangle" around the door handle. Can any of you PhotoShop experts re-draw that line so that there's only a single crease?

I wouldn't mind if there were no visible door handle at all; I hate the latch cut into the body of the car - which is one reason I prefer the 308 to the 328.

How about a semi-camouflaged door latch like on the 308, or remote, keyless entry?

Looks promising, lets hope this car makes up for the cali, there is no doubt that Ferrari were surprised about the reaction the cali received. Then there are the guys from Ferrari that lurk around on this forum....

Interesting to see this and note the size of the brake discs which seem smaller in line with newer technology that was reported. Any more pics Napoli?

That's P 4/5 not the 430 replacement. Only shown to show the similarites in the fender shape.

Hate to burst your bubble but Ken had nothing to do with the exterior styling of the Birdcage 75th, P4/5, or the 599. He was singularly responsible for the Enzo and 612.

    Derivative trash.

Hope its a single unit and not the next v8 car.

I'd (re)design their cars for free, but judging from this they prefer to contract Matchbox...

I wonder what the performance specs will be. I like where they are going with the design. Can't wait to see it in red / tan / shields / lowered and larger wheels.

Some how I don't think that's it, at least the final version. The design looks to design schoolish. Nice, but it just doesn't have what I'd interpret as a Pininfarina/Ferrari final design/production car feel. If you get my drift?

Personally I don't think that the Kaleefornia is going to do that well so they really need to hit a home run with this car. Othewise they'll appear to be taking steps backward. This design is not a home run.
