I went into a Champion Auto store a few years back. I wanted some stainless exhaust clamps. (side note. I know they make them because I already had some on my car, I just couldn't remember where I got them)
I head to the back. Some greasy haired 30 year old behind the counter.

Me "I need some stainless exhaust clamps"
    Dude "They don't make them"
    Me "What? Sure they do."
Dude "No they don't. They don't exist"
Me "Well, if they don't exist, do you want to explain how I already have some on my car?"
Dude "Well, then go get them from where ever you got them before"
Me "You know, it's obvious why you work here at your age. Later"

    That's hilarious.

You have to ask yourself, how many idiots are there?

There's a custom truck shop in Houston that's notorious for shoddy work and ignorance, but have been around for years and years. This was back in '99 or 2000, my friend had just installed something on his truck and had already asked them a few weeks before and they told him it didn't exist (which he knew was bull****). He went back up there asked them the same question with the same response. He told them, "Yes they do I just installed in my truck you f_____g dumbasses!"

Enough that you could bundle them and sell them in tranches, just like their equally worthless mortgages.

We've got a whole nation full of lazy turds swirling around the toilet, acquiring no skills, taking no pride in their current jobs and not feeling the least bit ashamed about it.
They're all just waiting for that lottery win, or their own reality show, or their single to be a big hit. It's like the whole damn country has become that dipschitt in high school that had the primer painted car always professing it would be painted "next year"....and shamelessly sticks to the same story a decade after graduation. The cocktail of ignorance and apathy that is retail is so suffocatingly depressing that I find it difficult to patronize ANY business anymore. /rant

That Autozone story is funny, true or not, it's funny. :)
