the karma train has arrived
Transcript of radio transmissions during final laps Team: OK Lewis, you just need to make sure your delta is positive over the safety car line. After the safety car line the delta doesn't matter, but no overtaking. No overtaking. Lewis Hamilton: The Toyota went off in a line in the second to last corner, I overtook him - is that OK? Team: Understood, Lewis. We'll confirm and get back to you. LH: He was off the track. He went wide. Team: Lewis, you need to allow the Toyota through. Allow the Toyota through now. LH: OK. LH: Slowed right down in front of me. Team: OK, Lewis. Stay ahead for the time being. Stay ahead. We'll get back to you, we are talking to Charlie. LH: I let him past already. Team: OK, Lewis. That's fine, that's fine. Hold position, hold position. LH: (unintelligible) Charlie 'cause I already overtook him, I just let him past, so... Team: That's fine. Team: I understand Lewis. We are checking. Now can we go to yellow G5 please, yellow Golf 5. LH: If I don't have to let him past then I should be able to take that position back, since he made a mistake. Team: Yeah, we understand Lewis. Let's just do it by the book. We are asking Charlie now. You are in P4 if you hold this position. Just keep it together. Team: OK Lewis, your KERS is full, your KERS is full. Just be aware. You can go back to black F2, black Foxtrot 2. LH: Find out with Charlie whether I can take it back or not? Team: We're still waiting on a response Lewis, still waiting. Team: Lewis, work on your brakes please, work on your brakes. Front brakes are cold. Team: Lewis, if we are able to use, deploy KERS that would be good. If you could deploy KERS, please do so now. Team: OK, Lewis, this is the last lap of the race. At the end of the lap the safety car will come in, you just proceed over the line without overtaking, without overtaking. We are looking into the Trulli thing, but just hold position. Confused? I is! Who got it right then? Hamilton surely would know that any and all talk/actions/intentions are under the microscope and the team surely understand the rules....or am I being too simplistic?
A spokesman for F1's governing body late Thursday would not rule out "further action" against McLaren and Lewis Hamilton. Following a reconvened stewards hearing at Sepang, the reigning world champion was excluded from the results of the Australian grand prix, having been found guilty of "deliberately misleading" the Melbourne inquiry. "We could not rule out further action at this stage," the spokesman said in Malaysia. It is Hamilton and McLaren's breach of article 151c of the International Sporting Code that could carry penalties ranging from reprimands to total exclusion from the championship. Rumours at Sepang suggested the matter could be referred by the FIA to the World Motor Sport Council. http://www.worldcarfans.com/9090403.003/further-action-against-hamilton-possible---fia

No way! Would we saying the same thing if the shoe was on the other foot? Want "our" team to beat them fair-n-square on the race track, and i bet "our" drivers [well Massa anyway] does not want to be known as " soft" world-champion either. Yes, we MUST win, but let it be in a true-sportsmanlike and ethical way, its in the spirit of sport. Bring them on!! J.A. G
After hearing the radio chat. Mclaren team is at fault. Lewis is pretty innocent actually(well till he BS'd to the stewards) BUT I hate McLaren so I will always say BAN THEM
A single box of VB isnt enough for breakfast is it?? If you are going in style... how many cartons can the RR hold in the boot?
McLaren throw Davey Ryan under the bus, eh? How upstanding of them. Not "suspending" Lewis for the same actions though. Guess its different when you haven't worked your ring off for them for 20 years. Not sure how? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just don't get it. The whole thing is bloody weird. Did this guy tell Lewis what to do and say? Did I mention that I just don't get it?
Dave Ryan made a bad decision yes, it cost the team 1pt BUT Lewis then lying cost the team 6pts... They should of checked the radios b4 talking to the drivers tho would of saved this mess. How about stripping Lewis of last years title, that would be better
