    Hey all, wanted one of these for years....any comments regarding value, etc. would be appreciated..kind of hard to assess value with so few sales...any help appreciated..

    Was looking at this exact car earlier today. I believe the market is about $60k for them at the moment. In this economy it could be $40k in a week though.

    The ebay auction is for a Sebring with a Vignale body. The Copley motors listing is for a 3500 Touring. There were about 450 Sebrings made. About 2000 Touring bodied cars. These are not the same. It is almost like comparing a 550 to a 456, in regards to the Sebring and the 3500 (Touring).

    Some of this may not be 100% correct but it will give you a summary of the differences.

    very good John, noticed the one wasn't referred to as 3500. now I see the Sebring coupe here in the cpi guide...care to do a over-the-internet appraisal of the example on ebay John? looks like a decent example (obviously PPI in order). thanks Frank

    These late 50s/early 60s Maserati's are incredibly undervalued at the moment. The 3500gt Vignale spyders are nothing short of incredible looking. Ferrari V12s have a very nice sound, but the Maserati I6 is not far behind if behind at all. Matter of fact, I believe my favorite sounding racer from that era is the Maserati 250F and 300s I-6. They have an incredibly visceral and smooth sound at full tilt.
