    Someone will be along with a specific identification, but I think that's the Pininfarina prototype based on an A6GCS-2000, from 1954. Value? Don't know.

    As suspected :) I found the picture by accident last night while looking for something completely unrelated. I popped a boner and had dirty dreams all night. I have never seen that car before.

    A little digging around this morning found this: http://www.barchetta.cc/english/All.Maserati/Detail/2089.A6GCS.htm I think Marriott lives here in VA., maybe he will loan it to me for a few weeks.

    He actually lives in Maryland. He had an FCA event at his house a few years ago that I couldn't make. I seriously considered moving my honeymoon so I could attend. Anyway, ask about it in the MAR, someone might have some photos from that day.

    This is an A6GCS (not A6G-2000!) with Pininfarina "high drag" coachwork. Only 4 cars were made. This one is the ex-Subbottin-car that was for some years in Germany. It was sold to the current owner in the US who commissioned a total restoration of this car, replacing the non-correct nose section that came on it in Italy in the early 70ies.

    Now the car is the best of the 4 PF-coupes based on the A6GCS-chassis.

    Value? About 2-2,5 Million Euros (about 3.0 Mill $$).

    Luke, I keep forgetting that we Virginians gave you guys your own land in 1632. I guess that is technically not part of Virginia anymore. :)
