    To protect against rock chips. Looks pretty stupid on a car like that; surprised they don't get the whole car wrapped in the clearbra stuff.

    the car had just been repainted and was on a shake down test at bruntingthorpe airfield- it's now at home in ny and has been 3m'd :)
