Just got the bottom painted and hull polished, new zinks. I'm thinking of a quick trip over to the Bahamas soon. It has been windy a lot so the seas have been rough. Maybe in a week or two.

1947 Fairliner Torpedo, hull #11 of a total of 35 made by Western Boat Building Co., Tacoma, WA between '47 and '56. Actually I just sold it to buy a house. If it was a car with those production numbers, I'd be retired...

    Thanks Tarek. This one is a 1966 Riva Ariston. 22 ft. Riva/GM 327 V8. Keel-up restoration in 2005.
(would make a very nice tender for your beautiful Squadron.......;-)
And I understand that you could keep the Riva nicely attired with young lovelies on your days aboard too.....

Currently available @ www.rivaguru.com in Florida USA. Tell Alan I highly recommend you.
Or if thats too far away, I have top contacts in Italy & Monaco.

    Best,
    Tritone

    Beautiful boat!
Did it come previously from Curt Erickson in Seattle? Had some nice rides in his....
I helped to restore one @ Tahoe in the late '80's. Won all the "nut trays".

No, but I called Curt about a PPI when I bought mine since the seller was also in the Seattle area. Cut was familiar with the boat and gave it a thumbs up.

Is this the one you helped restore on Tahoe?

well, looks like Tahoe, but when we did it there was no name. Bear in mind this was circa 1995; lots of water under the hull by now....

Thought maybe you'd recognize the owner, Joel Castro. His father bought the boat brand new.
