LOL...! Are you kidding me...? You guys are practically gonna have to send someone to my house to kick my ass before I'll start changing things around...! I need cold, hard facts before I'll start making updates.
HHI Enzo is correct...Guy is amazingly nice and has a great collection. I've chatted with him several times. Also a big Corvette guys. I was in a R-R and he was in his 360 Spider at the time and we had an impromptu Cars and Coffee at the Starbucks at the north-end location off 278. We parked next to each other and chatted. He had mentioned interest in an Enzo but in the meantime quietly acquired a red F430, silverstone 599 and well...others too
I've also seen one of the two Red Enzos in Portland, OR that is previously mentioned. It's in a very well known private collection along with the others mentioned (and a lot of other interesting cars).
Oooooh, so sick... Did you get the VIN...? Do you have that picture in a higher resolution...? I need proof. Do you have a picture of an Enzo with a Maryland plate...? I don't suppose you have a picture of this Enzo with a South Carolina plate...? Link doesn't work and, I'm ashamed to say, I don't comprehend the 'Novi' reference. Hey, if you didn't flee your native Canada for a city of sin, then I'd have a loyal Canadian spotter to disprove ridiculous myths like Winnipeg Enzos. But nooooooo... You had to dash off after law school and go make something of yourself. I don't suppose you have any pictures that would show an Enzo with OR plates...? You know the deal by now, brother... Serial numbers or pictures with plates... I assume you didn't spend so long in RHD-land that you've forgotten the ways of your fellow spotters.
I don't have higher-res, as those aren't my pictures. But that is certainly an Alberta plate (I've also seen the car several times in Calgary). FWIW - the rumor goes that the Black/Black Enzo came to Calgary via Winn Ferrari in Vegas...
This is very interesting! Carbon, out of pure curiosity...do you know how many Enzos are in Monaco. The are 2/3 for sale here at the moment...not bad!
No serials. We discussed this car a few weeks back. The owner also owns a car that i've sat in (and its my favourite car) EDIT: I'm actually wrong. I mean Oregon
There was a red one located in Harrisonburg, but was sold sometime in the last year or 2. There is one up in Northern VA though.
Novi is the city where it resides in Michigan. Link works fine for me... Image Unavailable, Please Login
There's another red one owned by Jorge C. in McLean, but I think he keeps it in Palm Beach. Saw it at Cavallino a few years ago but I'm not sure if he still has it. -R
You're welcome to stick to your guns on the pics or serials issue as this is your pet project, but I will add my voucher as the third person to confirm at least two red Enzos currently in Oregon, both in verynice collections, neither very public. I don't have it in front of me, but I believe one of them can be seen in the RTGT ad that has run for several years that also features a private jet (draw your own conclusions as to ownership if you like), but the other belongs to someone who actually has folks sign an agreement not to divulge the location or info on cars before sharing the collection, so I won't be the one to violate his desire for privacy. I've heard of the third, silver one before as well, but cannot personally confirm its existence or current location. If it were me, I'd add two red dots to Oregon, but hey, it's your map. Best, Tad
That is the one that i mentioned; and having knowledge about the car in Harrisonburg as well. Yep; see above...it has also been added to the map. I've only seen it very few times here; and that was quite some time ago. I'd love to know if he still has it, and be able to provide more information about this vehicle. Never knew his name before though.
Where does s/n 135872 live? It's Grigio Titanio with red interior. I've seen pictures of the car with temporary tags (?) on it that start with EE but I forgot the rest. Is it a California car cause in the pictures I've seen there are some rare classics in the background with California plates.
Actually...I remembered that there IS a Grigio Titanio Enzo in Oregon so it could be the one I mentioned above ^. The owner has a crazy collection including an F1, Veyron (?) and tons of classics. This may be the "silver" Enzo in Oregon someone mentioned on one of the earlier pages. http://www.car-parazzi.com/display/index.cfm?display=ItemDetail&media_id=40772 There's the car.
Ian: Its "EE.497.BP", temporary plates issued in Italy because the owner went to the factory, took delivery there, and drove the car away. Essentially they are touring & export plates, but you'll sometimes see these left on the car years later.
Ok that was my guess on the plates and thanks for the confirmation Joe. I'm pretty sure it's the same Oregon Enzo I posted above ^.
Yep, believe it resides in the Bend area. Mind sharing who the owner is (via PM?). The Enzo/F50 pic is from the '05 PDX Auto Show. A F50, F40, and GT0 were on display and are owned by Ron Tonkin, however the Enzo in this picture was kindly loaned by another Oregonian as Mr. Tonkin didn't want to take his out of the garage (or so his sales rep reported). The grigio titanio Enzo made an appearance on the Player's Run in 2005 as well, and I believe I saw it two summers ago in central Oregon at Carrera Motors in Bend. But rest assured there are indeed two Enzo's in Portland, with rumors of a black Enzo residing in the Portland area as well. I'll search for a picture of Mr. Tonkin's if you really need it. Is that black Enzo definitely on Alberta plates...? Are you 100% certain...? LOL, a lot...?!? I don't know, I'd have to do a search. A quick search yields six or seven - but there's probably more. Then again, per capita, that's gotta be a lot. What's the population of Monaco...? So you, too, are asserting that the silver Enzo in the same collection as the McLaren F1 is definitely an Oregon car...? Where is Harrisonburg...? Virginia...? Yeah, it wasn't working for me and I tried it several times on two different networks. Either way, thank you for posting the picture. Does the Enzo in that picture have MI plates...? Jorge C. no longer owns that car - it's now in New York. Tad, thank you for pushing the issue - I'm really leaning towards updating the map with two red dots in Oregon. But if it weren't for my stubbornness, I wouldn't get such an influx of replies. Jorge no longer owns that car. I originally had 135872 on Italian tourist plates with an American dude from/in Hong Kong. But then I have pictures of this car on NV plates. So the silver Enzo in the same collection with the silver McLaren is definitely an OR car...?
I have the ZZK plates of the silver Enzo associated with an unknown (no serial number) silver Enzo in North America - the same one in the aforeposted picture sitting next to the McLaren F1; owned by J.M. Do you have higher resolution versions of both of those pictures...? I don't have the ZZP plates anywhere in my database, and if those are indeed OR plates, then I need to make adjustments to the map. If you have higher resolution copies, and are willing to share them, my e-mail address is [email protected]. Thanks for contributing to the thread; all information is greatly appreciated.
