That is a fascinating article. What about this guy to REPLACE Bernie & hire a new Max?

First guy I have seen associated with F1 in a long while to tell it like it is.

    Thanks for the English!
Looks like Bernie sold at the right time to CVC Capital Partners. Now they have to make payments on what seems to be a house of cards...

Those payments are the root cause for many of F1's issues.

A fan can only wonder how many more of the classic Grand Prix will fall away before there's changes for the better.
Staunch, long time, aussie F1 fans are staggered by the AGP's cost to tax payers. Even recent additions like the Chinese GP are unwilling to carry the costs.

I totally agree with this guy. He is spot on!

F-1 was finished around 2001 - 2002, and then we are just now feeling the affects of it.... the Classic F-1 is dead and gone... that died out in 1994, but the final vestiges lasted till last year. It would be better to have everybody run a GP2 Chassis and alow multicylinder engines derived from road cars... than what we have now....

I actually feel for the kids of today ... they will never know real F-1...

    +1 Very good read.

Oh please! Last year the title was decided on the last corner of the last race. This year we're seeing more overtaking and technical advances than in years.

Formula one is dead! Long live Formula one!

Fantastic read. His perspective on the matter really makes you question the financial viability of F1 as it is now. As it was put earlier, the series really is a metaphorical 'house of cards'!!!

Article was insightful. I say work it out and let's get some races back in North America.
