Do you mean, was I a Ferrari fan in 1980, 1981, 1982, 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, and 1998, as well as over the Schumacher years? Answer: yes.
Supported SEFAC since Jacky Ickx so am not about to give up now Team domination has to end sometime, History teaches us that. Look at Williams/ Mansell, McLaren Prost / Senna, Benneton/ Schumacher and now Ferrari One team gets the upper hand and hey presto. But its the car that delivers the goods. Alesi / Villeneuve were wasted in the poor ferrari's Irvine was made to look good!!
The 80's were soooooo much more tougher to deal with than today. To a true fan, this current state is nothing. Besides, its better when you struggle and end up winning in the end. 2 poor races? No big deal. When they get on top again, we will cheer them more for their accomplishment over adversity.
I quite literally have the SF shield emblazoned on my body. I will support the team regardless of its performance. That said: go Brawn! I like underdog stories and shakeups
+1 Right bicep. And I was thinking of another above the ankle Also +1 It should be pointed out here that Tillman is the commish of "our" fantasy league - He has Brawn engines, Brawn chassis and both drivers in his lineup - Suffice to say he's leading right now That may be clouding his judgement a little is all I'm saying Cheers, Ian
Then yeah...there's no turning back for you HA! Just like a guy who tattoos his girlfriend's name on himself...you are stuck my friend
I tried to order the Cap it cost $50 for item and shipping. For $50 I had better get more than a cheap cap.
I've actually been hanging out over at BrawnChat.com now. I can't decide which tattoo to get. It's between "Brawn Virgin" and an optic yellow stripe randomly running across my thigh. Thoughts?
ferrari will always be my number 1 team. if they're totally out of the picture that doesn't mean i won't root for other people that i like though.
OUCH! Well I grew up in the midwest as a Cubbie fan... that gave me a pretty tough skin, "There's always next year!" I definately see this year as having some learning to struggle with. "Fortunately" for the teams that sucked wind last year, they spent thier efforts evolving toward 2009 by early 2008 season. It sure has been entertaining to watch though! Brian
There's close to zero interest in F1 where I live and work. I guess if I had very vocal McLaren or Brawn fans living on either side it would be harder.
If you don't, then you're not really fan. It's way too easy to be supportive only when things go well. I'd watch every race at the edge of my seat even if Ferrari started loosing exhaust pipes along the track again.
Ferrari who??? I'm wearing my Virgin shirt that I got from the Costa Mesa Megastore couple summers ago. I saw the future of F1. Gotta buy a few more when I go back next month...
I like various different teams and drivers, so my level of support for Ferrari will remain the same, so long as Kimi is there
