    I've noticed that the series 1's have a continuous line of gauges and then the air con vents clam shell style above like the countach. wheras the the later cars (series 2 and 3's??) sacrifice some instruments and have tthe conventional air vents sitting directly above the gauges?

    Looking at his subsequent posts soon after the 400i meltdown in 2007, the OP seems to have gotten over the tragic event quickly.
