An excellent RED PACK this time out! Nice meeting John Murray and his (new) 550 too.

Only one small misshap for me. My RH door started popping loose on the drive home. I did the usual "mystery' fix it on the door strike. Take it apart, clean it and put it back together. Seems fine now. Anybody have experience with this?

Yes, this happened to me that day on the drive and once before. I need to look at the adjustment. Did you find anything wrong with the door parts?

Just paying homage to the fabulous 3x8s in attendance. Thanks for all who organized this fun drive and helped me feel at home (Bob, Dave, Michael, Chris, Lou, Michelle, Ellen, Mike, the list goes on...). I may have arrived with 4 extra pistons but at least I came attired in red,... :)

Hey Dave, do you guys have cars other than red ones? By the way your engine bay looks fantastic. WOW - C4 engines rock. The weather looks fabulous. I hope you guys had a great day. Next week people will probably post photos of our 3 day drive where we will have some cars that are not red. If I see some photos I will email you with the link. I hope we get weather like you just had.

    John,

The strike slot is slightly worn. But not enough to explain the problem. I'll be road testing again sometime during the week to see if my re-assembly and adjustment worked.

    I'll let you know.

Thanks John. I need to fix this. It's the drivers door on my car doing it.

Same here, My Driver side door keeps popping open!

I tried to open and clean the lock mechanism a couple of time to no avail!

Thank you guys for a fun drive, sorry we had to leave so soon, but Robyn cannot handle the "twisties" and her stomach was all upside down.

I see that 2 of the ladies in attendance have a spot on the "Let's see pretty girls with Ferrari" thread! Congratulations!

The first half of that drive was pretty tight, corner wise. I don't think I could sit in the passenger sit with out getting sick. Especially if I was driving! LOL

I guess i'll have to trade her in for a wife that can handle twisties!

I don't see any other solution! She's not gonna like it though!

    :)

Well man, it was nice knowin' ya!

Ellen won't even let another woman sit in the passenger seat of our car. Hell she's even sent me a list of buddies that are "Just to much of a p**sy" that can't sit there.

    I've tried working all angles...

"But Baby, suppose the Tropic Tan Bikini Tour Bus was broken down...." NOPE!
"A screaming hot girl in a micro mini skirt is hitch hiking, I'm in the car by myself and she's in danger" NOPE!
"Ok Baby, a naked girl is..." NOPE!
    "My Mom..." NOPE!

    Just aint never gonna happen!

No worries, Dave (as long as no cell phone video turns up on youtube.....titled "Ferrari prison pals" or something.)

One of the better events I think (the drive and brunch I mean, not the chair thing) fun day. Great pics guys!

Hmmm. Yea thats just how the colors worked out.

Sounds like Michael is going to open this event to non 3x8's AND I think they might me on to me. Weather was absolutely awesome. Great group. Seems to grow each time. Please post a link to photos from your event here. I would like my friends to see what you guys do regularly in Australia. I think that there is real interest for that type of thing here.

    Best
    Dave
