Well am I. The season sucks. I mean the cars look like crap, Bernie and Max are greedy son of *****es. This whole Hamilton/ Mclaren liegate is pathetic. Racer can't race each other or they will get fined(Kubica/ Vettel). The FIA rules are destroying to sport! I personally think ever since 2005 the series has been going backwards. Yes I know the racing closer, but F1 is suppost to be the pinnacle of motorsports with the latest and greatest technologies. I see F1 eventually just becoming another indycar series.

Well, I have to agree that this year is starting off on the lackluster side... I'll still watch of
course, but I just don't understand the changes. It seems the cars are crippled over the
2005 era, and with the Kubica/Vettel incident, the racing itself will become more crippled
out of fear of losing position. I certainly don't want much to watch a Brawn sweep as
it appears to be going - we can only hope that after the 14th the diffuser issue will
be resolved to give the whole field the same advantage that Brawn seems to own right
    now. But whatcha gonna do?

As soon as they pulled the races from Canada and the US, the entire season became a bad joke.

The only really questionable decision so far has been the Kubica/Vettel incident. If our team didn't suck that much, it would be a fantastic season with more racing going in the first 2 races than in the whole last year.

For me, its a combination of the cars being ugly as sin, Ferrari not being legitimate threats, the political nonsense, the McLaren drama-fest, the late start times (sorry, I don't watch races that start at 4 am), and no North American races. the cumulative effect is I'm just not into it this year.

I like seeing Button finally doing well, and Ross Brawn doing so well with his team, but that's not enough positive storylines to make up for all the BS.

The racing is exciting, the politics suck. I try to focus on the racing but the politics are coming way too close to the track.

i like how the cars look and the first two races have been action packed I'm finding this season to be great. I just want to see more fighting at the front the rest of the cars need to catch up with Red Bull and Brawn GP. I want to see Ferrari and BMW on top, and I love seeing Mclaren struggle.

+1. The season was shaping up to be really exciting, and to a large extent it is, but it would be a lot more fun if McLewis would stop the silly behaviour and Ferrari would deliver on the track.

This season is gonna be great, provided the FIA stays away and stops meddling the results. When was the last we saw 6-7 teams challenging for wins?

I have to agree with this. It's been good so far, and it's certainly kept the fantasy league interesting.

Seems like your team isn't winning so you just want to take your dollies and go home. Let's see 2005 was the last year of real Ferrari dominance... Switch it off if you hate it so much. I'm having a ball watching it. Drama on track and off. I could use less of the later and more of the former but I'll take both if that's what it takes to have a good season. Ferrari and McLaren both will turn it around and I'll be there watching when it happens. I remember the late 80s early 90s and I didn't switch off the TV then when the Scuderia were having problems and I'm not going to do it now.

I didn't take you for a fair weather fan. I'm really surprised.

It's becoming a soap opera with the diffusers, Stepneygate, Nazi orgies, etc.

    Losing interest as we speak.

Not as exciting as we all would like for the red cars (yet) this year but trust me, Ferrari will either lobby for and get the diffuser outlawed or just adapt with one of their own and compete.

I just hope it happens before the Brawns have hidden with a 40 point lead.

+ another 1..... F1 has *always* been deeply embroiled with politics and "scandals". It's simply part of the sport. And the racing has really improved.

BTW, I didn't read "fair weather fan" into Florians post.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Ian, I agree switch off but I can't remember a season starting with so much BS off track and I HATE IT WITH A PASSION and if I wasn't so addicted it I would not watch it because of it, I CAN'T wait for the day that sicko Max is 6 foot under the ground.

I know what your saying. It is always nice to see a close season between 3 or more teams. But that just dosnt happen and deep down inside we know why it is happening. Its called artificial racing. I like to see it close but only if thats just the way it ended up being, not because someone has dicked with the rules to make it that way. There have been more rule changes in the last 2 years than in the previous 20 I would say. Like I said last year....I hate those 2 pricks for taking away what I once loved. Real Racing on Sunday not this artificial crap. BTW dont expect the stewards and the FIA to sit on the sidelines ....... F1 is getting desperate for the ad revenues and they are stooping to creating controversy to keep fans interested.

The real problem is that there's not enough racing. Take a page from the NASCAR book and fill up the season with back-to-back race weekends. There wouldn't be enough time to get caught up in the off-track nonsense.

Not since the days of Ken Tyrell have we seen the little guys beat the big boys the way we've seen in past 2 races. I think it's very exicting. It will be interesting to see how the big teams try to fight back.

And, it's nice to see Barrichello smile again in the twilight of his carreer.

Yep, but thats hard to do when you watch a race and find the results have been changed twice within in a week.
If folk can live with that fair enough.

It was his fault, but a penalty for the next for a pretty normal racing incident is over the top, imho.

Absolutely agree. I too don't mind a bit of off-track drama. As Ian said, it has always been part of the sport.

Huh? Or was that directed at the OP?
