We are a forum representing a great Italian marque and we don't have a section for Italy!

Well I was wondering if the Ferrari operations have been affected by the earthquake, which is about 4 hours away, and how about our Italian FChatters?

I'm not sure where this thread belongs...but the Abruzzo section of Italy was devastated with a huge earthquake April 6th. With 300 dead, hundreds more injured and many thousands homeless anyone with roots in Italy, or just wanting to help your fellow man here is a website you can donate a few bucks to the cause. They take PayPal and other major credit cards. You get nothing in return but a good feeling in your heart. http://abruzzonelcuore.org/index.php
This site was on Juarno Trulli's fan clubs website. It's hard to find, so I posted it above.
I have family 50 miles away and they are fine. They felt the quake and said it was quite strong. They have taken in several families and tell me that the destruction is very bad near the center of the quake with many small towns destroyed.

Michael thank you for the info!..I think you have to live in a cave to have not heard of the tragedy in Abruzzo :-(...the TV images still haunt me..may God help the survivors..so many innocent lives lost in a flash..makes you wonder about how quickly your life can change!

I have come to believe that having multi-lingual sections is wrong.

I am Italian and therefore on one hand I'd love an Italian section. On the other hand, however, there are a lot of great threads, info and events in the various national sections which are exclusive to those who speak that particular language and I think that's a shame. Dividing the European community in different language sections isn't the right direction IMVHO.
