    Guys,
I am in need of a period review of a Bugatti Type 35 (late 1920's thru 1930's), preferably by a famous driver, or simply his published opinion of the car. I have a huge library available to me, but there is no way to go through everything. So, I simply need a reference whether it is in a magazine or a book.
    Please help,
    Erik

Here is a place you might want to start: Automobile magazine - I did not have time to read it all or check if there are contemporary references; but they did do modern style performance tests apparantly.

This is just about my favorite non-Ferrari car ever.

BTW - my birthday happens to be September 15th - could that have anything to do with it?

I could come up with several T35 articles with driving impressions, but I'm way behind on scanning and sending things that I have promised to others. I found three articles in a very quick search of my indexes. I'll try to help if I can.

OK, back from Lowes. The three I picked out as quickies are:

Sports Car International, June 1993, Captain Bibb drives a 35A, 8 pages.

Classic & Sportscar, April 1986, Willie Green drives Nick Mason's 35B, 4 pages.

    Classic & Sportscar, Sept 1992, Mick Walsh drives Nuvolari's 35C, 6 pages.

I would guess that I have lots more.

This is great, and I will pull these and read them, to see if they work. If you don't mind, could you check if you have anything pre WWII, or from the 50's in your index?
    Thanks!!

I can't find anything else with driving impressions in my indexes, and I don't have anything pre-WWII. I'll look again this evening when I have more time. I'm sure there are folks at the Atlas Nostalgia Forum who have a wealth of older material.

Can you share some photos and your take on what the car was like to drive? I was going to PM you your opinion of the car, but figured others might like to read. Was this #4948
Back on topic I got a great autocar article on the Type 35 from 1926, which is what I was looking for. Miltonian thank you for your help as well, as I am going to pull those references you sited this weekend, when I have access to them.
