...sans a pre-nup. And he's worth an estimated $900 million! So, $450MM/30 years = $15MM avg. salary as Gibby's wife.

I wonder if there's a motive or if it really just wasn't working out?

They've been married since before he was a star. Even with a pre-nup, the only assets shielded from divorce would be those he held before they got married. Anything accumulated during the marriage is marital property.

The funny thing I saw is that she wants alimony and attorney's fees, too. $450mm just doesn't go as far as it used to...:D

Didn't Chris Rock say about the OJ killing his ex-wife... "I don't agree, but I understand".
I crack up when I think of that, then I realize how true it is.

After all those years they probably both need a change. Only 1 minor child and enough money that the actual amounts are only numbers. Nobody is gonna be homeless or missing any meals.

I suspect the outcome will be more amicable than the press will ever let us see.

Right, what's the big deal he walks away with $450M sounds like a good deal to me! I suspect he won't have a problem meeting women.

A pre-nup doesn't protect you from your assets in a marriage? Say you come in a marriage with a net worth of $50 million (not counting your home and such). After 14 years of marriage, it grows to $125 million (say you had an increase in your pre-marital assets, as well as new assets you generated during the marriage), how does that work? What about the income that is generated from those assets during the marriage? Would she/he be entitled to the income generated once the marriage is over? A pre-nup wouldn't protect any of those things?

Ya, my math tells me a hit man would cost him a tad less. NO woman is worth half of what a man had the brains to make.
