Ash With a day or so left for you to raise some coin, you should spend less time posting here and more time either on the phone rounding up some dough or on the streets snooping out some day labor. Absolutely not. To the idiot here that thinks he WILL do any of that. On a side note, the PSP sale is a great idea. I do that with buddies all the time. I hate lending money over say $50 (Best way to loose a friend) but I will make a deal with you. Last one I did was for $1k. Deal was I gave my pal $1k and he gave me his AR-15. He had 1 year to pay me back plus $1.00 and he could get the weapon back. If not, it was mine to keep. (Sadly, one more $200 payment and he gets it back.....)
Wow, I just want to say that it's easy for tensions to rise and to have a dislike for some on this website (see: F1 section) but it's threads like this that make this the great site that it is. Mike, unbelievably generous offer and the advice given by so many others is far more valuable than any loan amount that could be offered. Imo, working for it is far more valuable than receiving handouts, I fear that it would be just as easy to try to do the same thing (asking for money) should another "I need money fast" situation arrive whereas if you work for it and put in your time, you'll appreciate the money much more while also learning valuable life lessons. I sometimes look at my join date on this website and my low number of posts and wonder why I'm not up there with the others on this site in terms of posts and then I realize that as a 25 year old just starting out in life that often times it's more valuable to soak up information than to ad posts to things you don't know about. It's probably a good time to take a few steps back so the young lad can learn from everything that has been posted here. With doubting that he's a lazy ass, my guess is that in 8-10 years, he'll own a home, have some money in the bank and will mature ten-fold. It's easy to kick a young person in the teeth for doing things that may not be deemed as 'proper and right', but that all comes to you in life as the first grey hairs start popping up! Kudo's to those that have supported his plight with great understanding and to those that have slammed him, maybe you want to re-think what you have posted and think back to the old days when you were young and dumb!
