Which is better in your opinion, the Tomica or HotWheels?

When I find anything on a peg, errors and varies are the 1st thing I try to find. All of my White Murcie's have the Tampo.

Thanks! There were 3 Murci's on the shelf so I grabbed them and noticed that the 1 was without the tampo.

    Tomica for sure.
The tampos are better by far and my pics don't do it justice. There is a orange vari thats cheaper and easier to find then that green one.
The green one can sell for about $30.00 USD, and the orange a few dollars.

I just checked ebay and this guy has one, but so far its the only one I see.

IMO, I don't like the Tomica one. $30.00 is far too expensive, just for the tampos (I think, if thats the only differences). The wheels don't seem that great, but if I ever see one in person, I'll make sure to post back up here with my verdict.

Its a limited run car is why its 30 bucks, the orange version is the normal run car and is a lot less. You should see it in person, its a ton better even the wheels. The Tomica also is a little longer, flatter and wider.

Quick shot of the orange one..

Oh okay, makes sense. Haven't bought HotWheels in a while, makes me sad.

Grabbed a blue 2010 Mustang, green Grand Prix car, and white GT-R from the Wal-Mart grocery store by my house this week. Also found a 2006 Viper there recently.

Got the GTX1 concept car from the clear pack, and a black one from a mystery pack. Also got a green Shelby concept from the mystery pack.

Grabbed the F430 Challenge car from my first mystery pack back in the day (thanks to my wife's lucky guess and encouragement!!!) and the 1/87 at TRU a few weeks ago.

Stopped by TRU today and finally got some 5 packs. I grabbed 2 of the 7 they had so I could spend more on the racers they had there. I also grabbed an "Officially Licensed" Ferrari F430 Challenge RC car. :)

I just have to hit a TRU! Problem is, they are atleast 30 minutes away in areas I don't get to that much.

Re: the Ferrari Racer cars: I'm guessing those are the latest releases? Is that all of them or are there others in the set?

Would you mind posting some close-up shots of them?

Why is it that no stores in Michigan(from what I've seen) have the Ferrari Racer series? I would kill to find some. And you found a white GTR? Didnt even know it was out yet. Can you post some pics? Thanks!

From this post: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=138627033#post138627033 it appears they are releasing 6 at a time. I'm not sure when they go out. Below are some close ups. :) I bought 2 250LM's so I could open one. I love that body style and it looks great next to the 430 Challenge car.
