A red Ferrari F430 Spider parked in the middle of the Sherway Gardens parking lot today. Also, a black Maser Quatroporte parked in a parking lot on Jane near Langstaff.
I also spotted this CLK AMG on Yorkville on Friday night. I also saw it last summer too. It has Florida plates, and this car is definitely awesome!
+1 There were 2 beautiful 911 Turbos, a Black SLR, and a Gallardo parked there on Friday night. However, if you travel up to Woodbridge/Kleinburg on a sunny Saturday afternoon, you will see double the amount of exotics parked around the lunch cafes.
saw a good assortment of cars drove back from Scarborough today from a car meet and was in the NSX all on the 404 Silver Z8 with the Hardtop on Black Viper GTS drove beside a Red 360 Spider and then coming the other way was a 430 Scuderia!!
Locally owned and driven car... after months of wrangling with RIV and MB Canada, it was decided the FL plates were the only way to get the car up here. Shhhhhh
How about insurance ? How long you can keep the license FL license plate in Canada ? or you need to go back & forth to keep the status valid ?
This is a good question. And no matter who I ask, I always get a different answer. I heard that you can only keep the car here for 6 months. And I have also heard that there is NO expiry date. I have also heard that the US insurance broker will not cover the car if it has been across the border past the expiry date. Is there anyone around here that knows the FACTS? Because there are many people (including me) who need to know about these things.
You must be a resident of the State of Fl. to legally drive a Fl plated car in Ontario. I've been driving my Harley with my Fl. plates. I think it's unlikely any officer pulling me over will either know the law or be able to determine whether I meet the residency requirements. Insurance should not be a problem. In my case, I added the bike to my fleet insurance this winter without problem. I'll likely dump my daily driver for a G spyder next winter and do the same with it here next summer.
How about this.....how about you take a 2.5 hr plane ride and go back and forth. Keep a car in florida and call it a day. I did that drive once.......i repeat once....NEVER AGAIN !!!! I was in a Lincoln Navigator when we drove there.......THANK GOD i took a plane back home. There is no way i will do a 23 hr drive again, even by limo ....... ROLMAO , you guys crack me up !
Anybody in the London area? I've seen a gunmetal R8 with Florida plates ripping through the city. Seen it about 5 times in the last 2 weeks.
Rare black 348 with black wheels on 401 East collectors after 7pm today got off at Weston - anyone here?
I saw that car the other day too on Dupont. It has black coated 360 wheels with the trim left in silver. There are many pics of it here and in Montreal. Not sure if its the same car though...
ROLMAO...if this is the car i think it is, you need to clean the wax out of your ears It maybe be the ugliest 308gt4, but its the only one that runs
Hey everyone, I had a chance to visit the new dealership in Woodbridge and it's very much worth your time to go. Compared to the Steeles site, this one is gigantic and as you'll see from the pics much more beautiful. My pictures of the outside only show half the size of the building as I was probably subconciously more interested in the Ferrari half. It has two floors and lots of natural light which photographers here will enjoy. Like the old set up the second floor has a museum but now the first has a nice boutique too. There are windows everywhere and you can even see into the shop. It's in an automall which I find weird but as automalls go this one is good since Pfaff Porsche is there too and I did catch an orange GT3RS. There's a ton of parking in the area. I don't think they had their grand opening celebration yet but they are open. If you're a Ferrari/Maserati customer you may want to call them to go to the event; I am free that day if anyone here wants to take me Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks for the sharing the pictures! I wonder if Ferrari Vancouver will do a similar theme when they finally get their new location open on Burrard. Right now the Ferrari dealership looks ****tier then the local Kia dealership lol.
