if it is a daily driver, then a gallardo you cant go wrong. but you will be missing those days when you are working that CT... I would suggest a more comfortable than the G as a daily and keep the CT...

Get an earlier Countach :) A BMW M3 makes a great daily driver.

Pick the one you like most.

The Gallardo will most certainly depreciate more than the Countach.

It will be easy to find any Gallardo in any color with any options at any time. (and getting cheaper by the day) Finding another Countach like yours will be MUCH more difficult. Keep the Countach and save your $ until you can have both.

You mentioned two words "daily driver"
Get the G.... you will loose money and will regret it, but you will have your daily driver.
    Good Luck.

I'd rather have a Countach and a pick up truck than a Gallardo.

Hey wait a minute. I do have a Countach and a pick up truck!!!

NOTHING wrong with a Gallardo. Killer car and technically light years beyond a Countach.

But still, it's no Countach, and Lamborghini made a crap load of Gallardo's and they are still coming.

    No more Countach's. EVER ;-)

Keep your current Lambo, Gallardo's are but ugly, no matter what angle you look at them at! They are no Countach, they sound like a truck no matter what exhaust is on it. Thanks to its great V10, reminds me of the UPS trucks!

Keep it. Get something inexpensive that saves gas. Then when you get in the CT you'll REALLY appreciate it. And with the gas you save during the week you can then burn on the weekend with the CT and not feel bad about it.

Keep the countach and buy a mercedes as a daily driver. Those r230 mercedes sl's are pretty good value for money these days.

Gallardos are a dime a dozen,

These days seeing a Countach is an event

The CT will gain a lot more value, The G can only lose value

the Gallardo will be the Lambo version of the Ferrari 308 series, lots of them around, and not worth much, relative to the exotic car hierarchy. i like 308's, and the Gallardos are cool, but they have not found a bottom yet, and your Countach is going to skyrocket, as those of us in our 30's had them on our walls growing up. nobody i know in my age group wants brass era cars, model T's or 57 Chevies.

Countach, 930 Porsche ad the Pantera are going to have a definite following in the coming years.

    keep it!

Funny I was thinking just the opposite of which car is butt ugly. The Countach will have strong value no doubt.

Take it from someone who sold a Countach for something he could drive more often. Regrets are no fun in life, I now have one.

Friends don't let friends sell a Countach

Well, . . if he does sell it, he will be able to say later on in years . . . . .

" I wish that I would have kept my countach "

Oh well ! Keep it dude.

Keep it! I made the foolish mistake of trying to sell mine for almost a year. I'm so glad the market didn't allow someone to buy it from me because I would have totaly regretted it. I just spent a bit to make it as I want and I feel like a kid waiting to open his Christmas present. I'm away on vacation now and it will be done when I get back. I can't wait to pick it up and take the 90 mile ride home. I tested an '04 Gallardo 4 yrs ago and while it certainly is a beautiful and capable car, it became rather mundane after about 5 minutes of driving and I felt as if I could have been driving any other car except for the stares, ooohs and ahhhs that I got from other people. It is still a great car though! Now contrast the Countach. It is a special event every time you drive it because it take so much work, effort and concentration to drive it well (at least mine does). It's draws attention like an automotive movie star (which it actually is) and everyone wants to see it, follow it and photograph it as it makes it's rare appearance to the public. It's always exciting and never leaves you bored. That's what I think exotic cars should do. They should stir the soul and ignite the passion. I bought a BMW 135i convertible as my daily driver and it is a blast with the twin turbos and paddle shifter. It is loads of fun, reliable, practical and bridges the gap nicely between daily driver and hard core exotic. I guess I'm trying to say, keep the Countach my friend, you'll thank us all later!
