Probably best if you did start looking at another marque after your Ray H misdemeanor on another thread.
I agree. In larger markets like the US, you can always find what you want used. Here it is damn hard. I looked for a year for an AMG S63 or S65 on the used/demo/factory fleet market and nothing was for sale. Even since I bought my S65 I've kept an eye on the used market and there has never been a car listed. The Lambo market isn't much different - finding a special car will always be hard. In the end, if you have the money you probably decide that you might as well save time and buy new rather than waiting for that perfect used bargain.
Well you bide your time and wait till a car comes up. It won't be the spec you might have gone for if you paid up for a new one; but that's a sacrifice you make for a 50% saving. If you are getting one, there will be one for sale a few years down the track for the rest of us. Old scuddy has a short attention span when it comes to exotic cars (joke)
and if you buy it at the right price from new, the saving won't be 50%, you never pay full freight on a new lambo. anyway life is too short to wait for 2/3 years to go without something you want. as mhh said, if you have the cash it's all good. also i've had my 430 for 3 years and a half years, so that's not too bad.
Lol! Thats good to know! Yep, lifes too short mate. If I had the coin, I would probably buy one too! But I dont, so bums like myself have to wait 10+ years to get a used POS Ferrari just to be able to experience what its ALL about! Cash is king! Sounds like shes a keeper mate! When are we doing the deal on the 430 mate?? Will you accpet $200 a week over the next 30 years @ 5% interest??
This car is awesome!! I saw an immaculate example, similar to this one, on Chapel St last year when I was in Melb. A black Countach LP500. Do any of you think $315K is a little overpriced?? Or is that roughly what they are 'worth'? http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/LAMBORGHINI/COUNTACH/New%20South%20Wales/csn7017027.aspx
How about this for $235k? One for the collection for sure. http://www.carpoint.com.au/used-car/LAMBORGHINI/COUNTACH/Victoria/csn7087244.aspx
Orange Superlegover yesterday near The Glen around 3ish. Looked like it had NSW plates. Didn't get a chance to read the plate number or take photo.
Last nights TopGear was nice showing of the Tractor brand. Had my chance to get a green SV Miura....blew it Countach still looks wild and mad today. J.A. G
