Mikey, Mikey...it's feeeeew-tile:) doesn't matter how clearly you lay it out...it's not gonna register. ya see, sometimes the lights are on, but nobody's home! even if a person only has a hamster running on a wheel inside the cranium, they'd still be able to see that the FIA 'adjusted' the title race last year...but a person with a genuine brain can't see that? hmm...good grief! as for next year, well, it's likely Kimi wont be back, and we'll be seeing FA, or Vettel...with a competitive car, one of those guys will be right up there challenging for the WDC...

Simple fact. Massa wins WDC if he doesnt lose the support of his teams' engine 3 laps from the end of the race in Budapest. He wins the WDC if he doesnt lose the support of his team in Singapore when refueling during a pit stop. Lay out the telemetry stating his team cheated, any member. Lay out the telemetry/facts/ bank transfers etc showing the FIA intentionally awarded points to someone when another driver cut a chicane etc. Please post the facts. Fact is no one here has the data/telemetry or bribery documents/faxes etc about Massa influencing the FIA and his efforts to win the WDC last year.

Fact - He Massa, trounced the REIGNING WDC in equal machinery(posted regularly by those supporting LH vs Alonso it was the point driven home constantly supporting the opinions of how great and infallable LH was his first year, it should sound familiar), that was also used to justify the same argument that LH was WDC material.

Given the FACTS posted lets expand this to say JB is not WDC material. Wait....wait...he is now, in a car that is superior to all others he has driven(and all others on the grid this year). If it continues to be as RELIABLE(and fast), as it has been HE just might be WDC material. Wouldnt you agree. The difference between LH and MASSA last year was reliability. Thats the forest some dont see here. Its a simple fact.

I think Ferrari will officially abandon this year's car after Spain, or Monaco, when they are expecting 'new parts' on the car. MS issused a statement yesterday, saying never to write off Ferrari, and the only thing that is against Ferrari is the test ban.

MS mentioned that post Spain, either Ferrari's fortunes will change, or it will be the same and that will be the deciding factor on whether or not to abandon the F60's progress.

Personally, i think it's a bit too early, as we haven't actually seen the potential speed of the F60

To early in the season. An my question is why would there be some much backing from all these resources if he was WDC materiel? Maybe my so called light bulb is not on but that makes no sense what so ever. You are totally right Massa loyals don't see your so called advantages but you your not seeing all the mistakes that were in his path an to still come that close last lap of the last race come on?

I have a very simple question.

Do you believe that Massa slowed down on occasion in 2007 to let Kimi take the lead, earning Kimi more points?

Do you believe Kimi slowed down on occasion in 2008 to let Felipe take the lead, earning Felipe more points?

    Yes, or no?

I think Massa did it a few times while Kimi did it in China.

Not against the rules for a driver to let his team mate past, only for the team to order him to.

F*ck, I´m really fed up of this site. Another Massa thread. And always the two or three usual suspects. At least you could stick your crap to the good ole Massa Sucks Thread.

fact remains is that Massa last year didnt have the best car. It was pretty unreliable at times. I dont think kimi 'cheated' just so massa could win the title (or get closer to win it). He did what every single other driver of a championship winning team would do if he was out of the title run and let massa passed.

Nor did Massa have the best team. Compared to the todt/brawn/schumacher era, the ferrari team seem like a bunch of amateurs almost. stupid strategic decisions being made constantly, a pit crew ran by blind peoples just to name a few...

I like Massa but he doesnt have the pure natural talent some other drivers have (schumacher, hamilton and vettel for example). He was taken under Ferrari's wing and mentored by schumacher into a great driver, but at times he seems like a robot and having to think about things while driving which is a shame.

Ferrari's current problem is that neither of their drivers are great at developing the car, something schumacher was capable of.

Yes, you know that Massa gave up a position I think at Brazil so Kimi could win the 2007 WDC. As for Raikkonen doinig the same for Massa, it is hard to tell with Raikkonen's performance in 2008, so maybe yes.

Are any aero rules going to be different next year? As I currently understand, 09-10 will be like 07-08, so why not keep developing this car since it'll just continue/evolve into the next season?

a lot of 'facts' there... nice rant. yes, Ferrari had the fastest car for much of the season, and yes, Massa's 'TEAM' made bozo mistakes--and there were a few reliability issues, but that is EXACTLY why the FIA adjusted the points with penalties, etc...btw, who said anything about Massa influencing the FIA? to keep it close don't ya see? oh wait, you can see the forest all ready, but you just refuse to see it.. haha... ok, how about another rant...

The other common denominator is how ugly this board is going to be until Ferrari starts winning. i have never seen so much fighting here since one of those stupid Lambo vs. Ferrari threads (back when allanLambo was getting everyone riled up)
Personally I hope they turn it around because I frequent this board out to relax; if i want bickering and fighting I'll stay at work....

So you are of the belief that it had nothing to do with the team and was entirely a decision between Massa and Kimi, and it was never mentioned to Kimi at all from anyone within the team?

There was the race last year where Kimi was forging ahead at a blistering pace... then suddenly he started slowing down. Are you saying you think he just slowed down for fun, or because of a problem, or do you think it was so Massa would get the win?

    Honest answer
