No. Conditions during winter testing according to Truli's interview were much cooler. He said they were sliding around a lot more now than they were then. Given Truli's statement I'd tend to think Ferrari might be SOL this weekend. I don't think a podium is possible, but I do think points might be. Just about every team has brought updates this weekend. I haven't read where Ferrari has although I can't help to think they would.
Well, i'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one. However, don't forget..we actually haven't had a genuine chance to see the real pace of the F60.
Ferrari will only be bringing updates on the next race. So right now, if the Kers is reliable enough, i think we should see our first points of the season. Massa is a winner here anyways
so what happened to Brawn? They got beat in the wet by RBR, ok fine, but now they are decidedly mid-pack?
it is not only the kers that has had reliability problems in the ferrari f60 f1 cars.for example, massa's car told itself to shut down the throttle..kimi said he was having engine problems during the last race also,(i would think he had a hangover)..plus the ferrari team doesn't seem to be fully confident with their car for the qualifying or the race..both force india car's were faster than the fcars last practice for goodness sakes..hopefully being light on fuel, the cars will perform okay in the qualifying and get us somewhere on the grid that will make points seem promising..all we can do know is pray..really
Australia : Street circuit, 1st race of the season, **** happen, car was unreliable. Malaysia : Team screws up Massa's quali session, Kimi's tyre choices, washed up race, ( Massa was ninth, with more than half distance to go) China : Massa overtook as well as pitstops, from 13th to 3rd before reliability issues, could have easily scored 4-5th, especially with Hammi running off the circuit, the Brawns were struggling. Bahrain : Ferrari was solid during pre season testing, had pace, and the car was reliable. Makes me believe that they are capable of taking some points here. So now, have you been watching all 3 races?
Kimi matches Hamilton That woke Hamilton up. He beat last years pole next time round Williams distributing souvenirs
No biggie. Massa .599 now, but on hard tires compared to hamilton on the options. AND its practise so plenty of teams to pull something out of their sleeves.
