There are lots of books on the iconic F-car models, Daytona, BB etc, but are there any on our hobbycar - the 400? If so by whom and where can they be found?

    Regards, Ray.

There's a reasonable coverage of the entire series up to the 400i anyway in David Owen's Osprey Auto History book "Ferrari 4-Seaters V12 Pininfarina 2+2; 1960 On" published in 1983 by Osprey Publishing and distributed in the U.S. by Motorbooks. Chapters 6 & 7 from page 90-115 covers the 365 GT4 2+2 to the 400i and quotes the Car and Driver article that said "the 400i is the Ferrari for the guy who has cooled off enough about Ferraris that he no longer has to have a red one." and summed it up as "the one to have when you've had one of everything else." and because they're weren't officially imported into the U.S., "which means you're not likely to meet yourself on the way down to the country club".

Another excellent book is the Automobilia "Ferrari 412" by Paolo Murani and Stefano Pasini published in 1986 and which covers the predecessors in the series quite well plus has lots of photos of the various models in the series.
