I think you'll find that phil invented it, and it was taken on world wide. He's been widely acclaimed as the single best engineer outside of Ferrari itself.

lol...why? is the gearbox on the side?

    *shakes head*

No..it's for the pump isn't it? It cools down all the F1 stuff, as 360C said, not the actual gearbox.

Not sure whats going on down there???? One section of the Targa website says the first cars gets away for the prologue at 9.00am and yet looking at the results it says the first car is starting at 12.15pm. The live link says the fisrt car is off at 12.00. So three different start times on the samoe website.

    I'm confused.

    Again.

Oh great! They got rock boy down there too. :(

Never forget the first rally I spectated as a kid. After a few cars had gone through the yobs got bored and started rolling big rocks onto the track to "make something exiting happen".

Rock boy seems to have his inbred relatives all around the world.

well not much to report today as all went well with BG putting the 360CH through the course in a smooth fashion which surprised as a LOT of the porkers were bottoming or scrapping as they went through the section I was watching with Waz, the 360CH never even came close to bottoming and went through the chicane and bollards very smooth and then posted a respectable time.

Trip back to base was eventful with the sunroof exploding and then organising a new sunroof from the local dealer, Beama also went well in his M5 so team fchat have got through day 1 in one piece and now off for a drink and feed.

No pics as the camera played up and Waz won't give me any pics he took ...... reckons you all suck, but I assured him there are some nice fchatters and he should hand over the pics .... no dice, will take 2 cameras tomorrow that WILL work :)

Everything seems well organised so far and there is enough Aussie slackness with the security to make it enjoyable but still very organised and efficient (I left my pass back at the hotel but didn't get hauled over the grill because it was not prominently displayed for access to competitor areas)
