I doubt it.....there's no good reason for HSM to walk away easily after so many years doing it.

True, no matter what arrangment, selling ferrari is and will be a lucrative business, better to hang on to it then let..gosh Lambo dealer take over (HORRORS!) Then we might see a whole lot of Ah Bengs in Ferraris hahahahah

well .. I've had a few conversations with the HSM people about this and you'd be surprised .. there is one very good reason why they might walk away .. $$$. Maserati is a far better financial proposition, whilst Ferrari with their list of expected demands is much less.

I doubt it .. as allocation will always favour the bigger markets . and unfortunately Singapore isn't one.

this is certainly a possibility and as theera says replicates what they did in Japan .. however customs & duty clearance in Singapore is a far bigger deal than almost anywhere else (HSM have a team of 5 dealing with it), so I can't imagine Ferrari could be bothered taking on such red tape for such a small market. Surely the cost savings can't be that large.

I'm also disgusted, but mainly at the press whom I feel is playing the whole thing up...

Anyway, no fights bro... if we ever fight, it'll only be over our beloved teams. :)

Yep I never fight with my darlings :D

The only reason why ST was playing the whole thing up is because the new exco showed them disrespect, remember how the durai saga riled them up big time?

When this whole affair started the nex exco refused to let the ST interview nor comment anything even after repeated requests, then out of the blue over a weekend they gave an televised interview with CNA, subsequently on the Monday week following the Sunday interview on CNA, ST came back with guns blazing, I just knew that was going to happen LOL

As Vivian says we all need a rainbow coalition, plus with Iswaran asking the "Feminist Mentor" to clarify things, you know where our beloved gov is leaning...

At the end of the day, who is the only one in Singapore that dare/can use the word "mentor"? Hahahah

We should have buried them in the 1st half but Almunia was superb...

Thanks for the London tips. Will you also be there mid-June?

Come June travel might not be feasible...

We are now at Level 5

Phase five, one step short of a full pandemic or phase six, is characterised as a "strong signal that a pandemic is imminent and that the time to finalise... the planned mitigation measures is short," according to the WHO's global emergency planning.

May I point out to you that most representatives are making more from servicing than selling Ferraris, there's a higher margin allowed by those in Italy. Another thing is that most representatives do have other business concerns, which means that being a representative only provides them with extra bonus points for status.

That's true....I can imagine the list of requirements by Ferrari is getting longer and longer......so, lets just stick to driving them.
