well .. I've had a few conversations with the HSM people about this and you'd be surprised .. there is one very good reason why they might walk away .. $$$. Maserati is a far better financial proposition, whilst Ferrari with their list of expected demands is much less.

I doubt it .. as allocation will always favour the bigger markets . and unfortunately Singapore isn't one. this is certainly a possibility and as theera says replicates what they did in Japan .. however customs & duty clearance in Singapore is a far bigger deal than almost anywhere else (HSM have a team of 5 dealing with it), so I can't imagine Ferrari could be bothered taking on such red tape for such a small market. Surely the cost savings can't be that large.

Yep I never fight with my darlings The only reason why ST was playing the whole thing up is because the new exco showed them disrespect, remember how the durai saga riled them up big time? When this whole affair started the nex exco refused to let the ST interview nor comment anything even after repeated requests, then out of the blue over a weekend they gave an televised interview with CNA, subsequently on the Monday week following the Sunday interview on CNA, ST came back with guns blazing, I just knew that was going to happen LOL As Vivian says we all need a rainbow coalition, plus with Iswaran asking the "Feminist Mentor" to clarify things, you know where our beloved gov is leaning... At the end of the day, who is the only one in Singapore that dare/can use the word "mentor"? Hahahah
