Mega Thread: The 430 Replacement (F450, F500, etc)

listen to that transmission shift coming out of the left hander. That's magic.

 

"It has been rumored that the power output will top the F430 Scuderia's 520hp,possibly by increasing the maximum rpm to 10,000,"


Stupid people....Even with 430 scud's engine running at 10.000rpm the power could reach more then 520.

I expect nothing less than 550.

At 1:00 there is a digital display in the place of the analog ones.The dash is like Enzo.

i wonder why the yellow one didnt have those scoops in the back like the red one did. is the red one turboed?

 

That could be the test mule for the Enzo replacment. rumored to be turbo v8 instead of 12 which I hope to God is false but. I was trying to hear the turbos but could not hear.

Now thats a very deep sound, but i am sure when the f500 comes out it will sound differently, i could not imagine what its going to sound like at 10,000 rpm, which is rumored to be, but we'll see, i still love it and i am considering plunking down some cash for it, might have to get a 430 too and slam the novitec package to it, i am sure my wife will love driving it, i know she wants a spyder so i guess i'll have to wait for the 500 spyder to come out, i am hoping novitec is working on a supercharger for it, god i hope so. lifes to short might as well tune it up!

 

Minus the air intakes on the rear deck, the car doesn't look very much different than the Scud. I would hope to think that there will be some noticable changes to the overall body style and not just an improved powerplant and drive train.

This definitely sounds deeper and less frenetic than the 430. That's often the result of a larger capacity but this engine is incorporating much more than a mere 200cc bump. Can't say I hear a quicker shift than the Scuderia but it's certainly as immediate as my ears have detected. The wheels appear to be an inch larger than the current rim and the front tires appear to be a bit wider. I can't tell what it is (perhaps just the wheelbase difference) but it seems to move differently than the Scuderia. Any guesses?

it definitely moves differently than the scuderia, but its hard to tell why and how cause the power seems to be laid down perfectly, but even though i heard it was suppose to be near 10,000 rpm, it definitely didnt scream it, but then again i am not inside of the cockpit to read the tachometer, i guess were all going ot have to wait till september and then we can all make our decisions then, i just can't wait, it will be exciting for sure.........

The yellow one sounds like it has the F1 gearbox, the red one the DCT 'box.

 

The yellow one has wider exhaust.And lots of differences between them

The shift times sound SO quick! The car is amazingly smooth through the corners....

That is exactly what I noticed! The shifts are absolute lightning!

 

There won't be any such thing as an F450. You'll straight to F500.
