Some sad news to report. Several months ago, I remember seeing a thread on another Italian Exotic forum - lamenting the fact that Peter2 had not posted in a while. It was quite odd, as Peter2 was a regular and usually made several posts a day. I hadn't checked back into that site for a while. For some reason, Peter2 popped back into my mind yesterday - I tried to call him, but didn't get through, and for some reason felt uncomfortable leaving a message. Today, he popped into my mind again and when I got home this evening, I went looking for him on the boards. To my dismay, I found out that rumors that had been floating around, back in October and November, had proven to be true. Peter2 passed away on October 8, 2008. Peter2's family and girlfriend have posted with regard to his passing, but there have not been any details posted as to how and why. I think it is best left that way, since that appears to be their desire. I last saw Peter2 at a party at Hotel in West Palm Beach with JohnnieT, Scott, Bill Tracy, and several other chatters. I can't remember the exact date, but must not have been very long before he passed away. Peter2 was a fixture in local exotic car events, loved driving his beautiful 6.0 Diablo (even though he had to cram his well over six foot frame into it), was always a friend to his friends, and always greeted a stranger with a big smile. Searching his sign in - Peter2 - will find you a wide variety of sites where there are tributes to him, his kindness, and page after page of appreciation for all hi did, and was willing to do, for friends and strangers alike. As a final note, I saw in one of the posts - on that other forum - that his family has been unable to sell his car. It is apparently sitting down at Prestige, in Miami. I know that it would be a relief for them to have it gone (although they will undoubtedly make it sad to give up another "piece" of their beloved Peter). If anyone is interested, or knows someone who might be interested in a nice, well loved, yellow Diablo 6.0, I would be happy to pass on contact information for his family. Rest in Peace Peter2 Scottie
Yes, Peter was always a fun guy to be around. Hard to believe he could fit in that Diablo of his. It is truly tragic that he died so young. Reminds me of that Billy Joel song... Attached are a few pictures from the 2007 DerbyQ... We'll miss you Peter! I'm shocked! I remember meeting him when you took those very pictures BT.... RIP We all need to remember how precious, and delicate, life is. Some of you know that my wife was diagnosed with cancer. I haven't been to as many events since then, at first it was to care for her and the kids. Now that she is cured and better than ever, it is to spend more time with my girls.
I too am shocked. I first meet Peter at Bill & Lisa Tracy's Derby Que a couple of years back, as well as, hanging with him at PBSC Weekend and a few other events. Hearing of someone so young and vibrant passing makes you really stop and think. RIP Peter.
I have heard alot about this back when it happen, but I didn't know what story was true. very nice man... sad to see this happen. every time I'm down there I go look at the car. hope it goes to someone just as nice.
I was shocked when I learned of this news. Peter was such a nice guy, and always had a smile on his face whenever I saw him. As others mentioned, it was great to see his enthusiasm for cars proven every time he squeezed himself into that beautiful Diablo. Such a shame for someone so young and full of life be taken. This is just confirmation that life is fragile and every day is a gift. RIP Peter, you will be missed and remembered.
How sad, what a super nice guy he was. I too had the pleasure of meeting him several years back at Bill's Derby-Q and the following year as well. Also events in between, he was a gentle giant. Much too young to be taken. May he rest in peace with condolences to his family.
he was an absolute gentleman and an amazing person... sensitive to others' needs and always willing to help you.... he will be forever missed.. R.I.P

I was wondering why I didnt see him at BTs around Christmastime or at the PB Supercar weekend. Just figured he was out of town. He was a nice guy and was concerned about others. At one of the partys a few people had too much too drink and he made sure that they got home safe and even offerred to let them stay over at a condo he had in the area. I didnt know him that well, or know what he did for a living but saw that on some of the other sites, they have a lot of posts related to him and cats. I dont know if this was a private joke between his friends or if he had a lot of cats or was in involved with a cat rescue program. If anyone knows more about this or if he was involved with any charities, please post it here so that I can make a donation in his memory.
RIP One can only imagine he is sitting with Enzo right now trying to explain why he was driving a Lambo Condolences to the family.
I had no idea Duane. Glad it is behind her. My thoughts for the next 3 years, the critical ones. We all need to laugh more, cry less, dance more, drag less, enjoy more, ponder less.
