Zero: If you like that grill, Gothspeed's version is quite similar and he will paint/powdercoat it to your color specification. Be aware though, that there are a series of vertical panels (structural members) that are highly visible through mesh-type grills. Perhaps a tighter/smaller mesh size would mitigate this effect. Oz?????
That grille is from the www.Tubistylejapan.com they sell them but I can't get incontact with them anyone from Japan knows how please let mes know.
The grille sold by Tubi is made by M-Tecnologia,and Rhdjapan is an export agency of M-tecnologia. Coming in contact with Rhdjapan is good. http://www.rhdjapan.net/index.html
Very impressive set-up!!! Dual spring Hyperco's with fluid spring perch...WOW!! You can use a rubber tube to seal the hydralic spring seat and it will last a looooong time. Who made the pin-mount to top hat mono-ball conversion??????????? Having gone to that much expense why did you go with those crappy CH Bilstein dampers?? They may have been regulated for CH races but since you have totally deregulated the suspension a set of Penske 3ways would have been the "bomb"....probably cheaper too.
That's not the way a splitter/front diffuser works. No opening is needed, and can actually be detrimental. The splitter portion is what sticks out ahead of the bumper, and creates downforce by tapping into the high pressure zone ahead of the blunt bumper. The diffuser part is what extends back past the front edge of the bumper, and accelerates the air going to the underbody, lowering the pressure under the nose and produces negative lift. This pieces looks nice, but not on the car IMO. Looks high quality, and worth the cost if it's well made. A more "functional" front spoiler could be made, but would look like a race car piece instead.
Thanks! Rubber tube is good idea. It was converted with Bilstein Technical Center. I wanted to confirm the difference in spring. Penske is good but that is more interesting. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Ken for taking the time to post the mods made to your car....you have done an excellent job on individualizing this 355. That shock set-up is the BEST I've seen in incorporating the CH Bilstein dampers..truly a work of art. My only regret is that the 348GTC/LM upper chassis mounts are not available.....and to machine these up along with the pin mount to mono-ball top hats is beyond my pocket book. If you get a chance please post pics of the interior, engine, and whatever else will show off the best mods you've done. Regards Bruce
No, that's the only one of the special product. However, there is a commodity that looks alike, too. http://benetec.kir.jp/modules/myalbum/viewcat.php?cid=9 http://www.sasmotor.com/index.php?pg=syosai&goods_id=59
Corsa1997, you have the most awesome 355 i've ever seen! Very nice mods on it. Anyone thinking of ordering this via RHDJapan, they can get their hands on a lot of stuff and it gets delivered VERY quick. Great service (worldwide).
So these are made with pre-preg and autoclaved cured? They look nice, but I'm not quite sold on the quality of engineering behind the products. But they're the only choice...
Yes,pre-preg and autoclaved. Weight; Nomal food; 12kg Dry carbon food; 4kg Thanks! Image Unavailable, Please Login
