    Jim, I don't know if you already mentioned this, but why did you decide to have one restored instead of just buying one that's already in great condition? I think I would have done the same but I'm interested to hear your reasons :)

    Dump the silly carburator and go with the Edlebrok fuel injection set up. Its a nice easy and very simple system to install, and very reliable. Complete kit installed should no more then 3k.

    We're planning to go on very long car trips with this one and I want something that I can fix myself if needed. The motor runs really well with the carb.
