When I ran the drivers ed program for PCA, John would show up from time to time in some kind of BEYOND hot car (908 or such). At the time, Kathy had a yellow 355 that she used to drive on the track. I can remember clearly running down the front straight at Moroso in my track car and Kathy just motoring past me with the revs up near 8k. The SOUND of that car on the track caused me to lose my love of Porsches on the spot. Shortly thereafter, I got hooked up with FOC to start teaching at some of their track days and the rest is history. P cars are nice, functional, (relatively) inexpensive and fun to drive (especially older, lightweight cars), but F cars are at the top of the food chain.
