true......and priced like an "old master".......

OT: whats the progress on your boat search; any replacement for the 'lost' one? Get the Isle of Wight yet?

I am on a critical biz project now, if it still available in the summer I'll fly into Heathrow and rent a car. I have a feeling both will be available for a while, and will still nose around on this side of the pond.

Do these "epoxy-wood" hulls require as much work as a regular wood hull?

Quite right; pilot cutter types have a v.small buying audience.

Re" "epoxy-wood" hulls; way over-simplifying, but, built with skill and care, yes, lower maintenance requirements.
Of course the type of design, build, type and areas of use, storage issues, etc. all play a part.
Simply too many variables to state categorically 'lower maintenance'.
(same as with aircraft & Ferrari's right? Design vs hours of use vs maintenance costs/etc.)
BTW: Don't overlokk the PNW; lots of well done traditional-style boats up here......

I don't think he owns the Megayacht, I think he is a fan of MegaYachts. (based on the other pics in the profile) I think the name of the Yacht may be "my lady moura". I could be wrong..

What would the crew size be needed for that 345' canoe anyway? a crew of 25 or more?

I was on a 400 ft boat and the entire crew, full time, was 16. The guy took the boat to lots of locations and tried to hire crew who spoke more than one language. French, Spanish, Italian and so on. I thought that to be pretty cleaver.

The title of the thread is Let's see Pics of YOUR Boat! If I want to see pics of the largest yacht in the world, I can always Google it.

I agree.. The guy that posted it is from Iowa and in his profile it says wanted Ferraris, if you own the 17th largest Yacht in the world, well you get my drift..

I'm still getting mine cleaned up and ready for the water but here is an unfinished pic. Its a Donzi 3250 twin 7.4's, its supposed to run 60mph. We will see.
Over the winter, we repainted the stripes and used Ferrari's "Pozzi blue".

Is there any notable difference between the Donzi and the Proline 3250's?

Same hull but the Proline is a hardtop fishing boat and mine is more of a family cruiser with more seating in the exterior.

Here is a really good story about a guy and his wife going to the Bahamas in a Proline 3250. Its a very interesting read.

Yeah, I've seen the Donzi in both configurations too. I was wondering if there are any differences in them set up as fishboats. They seem to be the same, optioned with either out or V drives. I know the Donzi name has been sold in the past but it struck me as odd that the boat would be called a Proline too. Funny that the Donzi's trade for a smidge less than the Prolines. I would imagine they are the same, though.

    Cool link, btw.

I want.... but would probably kill myself on it....especially at my advanced age and deteriorating body.

Enjoy every last pony she has.

Absolutely the funniest thing I have seen in years. I love it! Damn near peed my pants the first time I saw the video. I've had it on the ipod for a few months now, and yes, it sounds even better when played on the boat! Now I just need a bigger boat with room for a grill so I can start randomly throwing hamburgers around.
