No agenda at all, just know your outfit's style of doing business, that's all. As far as you being an angel, that's great for you, but this particular car you're selling has a few skeletons in the closet and as always your outfit chooses to keep it under wraps. THAT'S ALL!!! Let me make a suggestion. Do your home work and than DISCLOSE, DISCLOSE DISCLOSE.

I'll put an ad out for a research assistant. You want to apply? ;). If you Google the Vin for this particular car. You come up with ZIP!

You obviously feel that researching an old car that has been out of warranty for some time with as many bugs as this car has is not warranted before sale time. However you see the response from others on this forum that differs. Oh you Googled this car and found zip. Oh okay, good car than, no worries! I don't this so buddy! A car like the SE30 will be purchased because of its collectability, aside from other unique aspects. Just because the price is about $60-100K less than a pristine example does not mean the future owner should not be disclosed all the data on the car, negative or positive. Transparency for a seller, in this case a dealer that prides on being the best, is most important when some one is about to give you their life savings.

I am not a Psychic you know :). We sell 200+ cars per year. It’s impossible to know the real history on every single car. You go off the information the dealers/owners you purchase from provide, the records, inspections, and what the Carfax provides. People on this thread mentioned that the car has some history. I welcome such information and am not trying to hide anything. It’s real easy to sit on the sidelines and find fault.

In any case. The car is currently in the hands of one of most renowned Lambo experts in the world. If something is wrong with the car and needs fixing. He will make sure it's noted.

    Hey Mr. Richard D____ Bag,
Who is this so-called-most-rnowned-Lambo-experts in the world? Another D____Bag like you? There many SE30 experts on this forum......people who have owned and driven them for years... like John, Steve, Roy, Victor, etc.....
Leave your bs at the door. Before you come here to advertise a car, ask us first. Your D____bag expert is nothing compared to the real experts here who have owned SE30s for years. You have no credibility here and nobody here will buy that car unless the price is closer to $80k.

Most who are looking for an se30 will be familiar with the lambo boards as it is usually for a collector. And its easy to find out a car's non car fax history. I would suggest that when your company is gonna buy a special lambo like that, do some research first on the boards. It probably would save you alot of grief and negative feedback from members... Besides, if you sell 200 cars a year, thats only 16 cars a month... Doing search on se30 or any specialty cars on the automotive boards shouldnt take too long.... While I give benefit of the doubt to any seller of cars, sellers should really do their homework before posting. Because by not knowing about the car's history and telling people its a great car, people would tend to think you are lying to them. I have every belief that your company should be upstanding... But, without correct info, even the best sellers would look really bad. Just some food for thought....

Wow! I love the first amendment and appreciate your comments. I won’t go into the particulars with you since you have already passed judgement. It is important to note that you really missed the mark on your assessment.

I am a sponsor on this board and spend a fair amount of money each month to advertise. You should be careful about making such inflammatory statements to a sponsor in good standing. I have spoken to a few other sponsors about these types of threads. The one’s where the sponsor get’s bashed. I know of two that won’t respond to this type of stuff in fear that it would hurt their company. I’m a little different I guess. I could give a hoot if you don’t like me, my ad’s, the company I work for, would ever buy a car from me, etc. etc. I will continue doing things the way I see fit and won’t be bothered by people who’s only objective is to stir the pot. I will pay attention to good and constructive criticism such as what Joe provided.

Lastly I can assure you that this SE30 will go well above the 80K you suggested.

I honestly didn't know it was that special until it showed up and I goggled the model. I'm just a worker bee. Since we are really starting to ramp up our Lambo side. I will have to get used to Lambo folks. You guys are a tough crowd. That's fine though. Anything that really burns my skin usually wears off in a few minutes and then it's water under the bridge. Look at how nice Ray and I play together after going to the mats a few months back.

All dealers/brokers/sales employees should know the full history, of every expensive car they buy/sell/consign. If they don't, they are selling themselves short. The longterm enthusiasts (most of the active members of the exotic car boards and clubs/and enthusiast owners), are aware of which dealers/brokers have the best reputations. When you broker a special car (low production #'s), it does not take long for the enthusiasts, to immediately recognize/ID the car in a few posts. In the specialized F model sections, it is no different. A potential enthusiast buyer, will most likely do his homework and look into the past history of the car, that is offered for sale. It will not take long, to find a knowledgeable member, who is aware of the past history of the car.

    This is all common information.

I am sure you are speaking of Gary B. He is a respected person for the cars, espicaly a Miura...BUT this car should be inspected by an AUTHORIZED FACTORY SHOP to really give it the credit it deserves...nothing less.

QUOTE " It’s impossible to know the real history on every single car. You go off the information the dealers/owners you purchase from provide, the records, inspections, and what the Carfax provides.' END QUOTE

Correct, and we all make honest mistakes, but we should not "color" the description with words such as "Negative carfax notation" when we really KNOW the real words and stand and die by our "colored" words.

QUOTE "Lastly I can assure you that this SE30 will go well above the 80K you suggested. " END QUOTE

In the past the car has been offered at RETAIL price for as low as $129K from other outlets as well as to me for wholesae of $105K recently...which I declined. The car has value..what..that will be set by the buyer who will pay for it and the seller who will accept the offer.

QUOTE "Look at how nice Ray and I play together after going to the mats a few months back. " END QUOTE

First it is ROY not RAY, Second I stayed out of this thread up till know, other then sent you a nice PM advising you of all the history on this car when you started this thread, a very very professional warning. I did not want to get into a pissing match, not worth it...I think I am better than that. But the response I got from your boss was quite CLEAR..and very un-professional:

HIS E-MAIL to me after you forwarded my PM to you to him..

    Are you drunk..? LOL

No, we did not, as a MATTER of fact per your request the car was delivered to a LOCAL car Dealer in Portland of YOUR CHOOSING, YOU asked them to look the car over prior to sending us a CONSIDERBLY reduced refund, at a great loss to us...they checked out for you and said it was fine....so you may wish to check with YOUR transported or whatever you used after the car was accepted back BY YOUR Dealer of choice in Portland...BUT then again this is par for th course, just blame everyone else and not step up to your issues...MAYBE I should have sent back the refund slip to read...MAY HAVE missing parts, not sure, but possible NEGATIVE return info..???

OH by the way Kevin is still waiting for you to make the WHEELS right on the car, as youpromised AND PUT in writing on this board!!!

This is now becoming two person involved and out of the realm...I am done and have said my piece.

    Thanks

    Rick,

I own a TOTALLY different business than exotic car sales but I do interact with clients, potential clients and competitive vendors in similar forums. Take my advice and type your posts into word PRIOR to posting them! The combination of grammar, spelling and random caps usage makes EVERYTHING you say look less than professional. You can't edit or remove these posts and they will live on longer in the world wide web than you would ever imagine! If you truly are or are trying to be a reputable firm, you need to make an immediate change to your posting.

    Good luck!

    Roy-

You are a stand up guy, and every one knows this. However if the guy that called you a scum bag is worried, its not because of what you said or will say. Its because of the business practice the outfit has chosen to undertake in selling their cars. Let them eat sh*t and deal with it. Its their own doing. I had a less than satisfactory experience buying a car from them and so has my friend. If I ever run into the man him self, he may be on a liquid diet for a few months after that meeting!
