    Automotive News reports Ferrari US new car sales for the first 4 months in 2009 was 360 down from 540 in 2008. Ouch.

    Maserati was 382 down from 904. Porsche 911's 2244 down from 3100.

    Local dealer tells me it's still impossible to buy a new one unless you're part of the chosen few. How come if their sales are down? I don't get it.

    I heard of them knocking a big chunk off of sticker on car someone bailed on . Guess it depends on who you deal with and talk to.

    Yeah probably not. There's plenty of leveraged fools in this town for them to survive.

    that specific dealer's list must be longer than the local dropoff in sales. don't forget, ferrari stores are restricted to selling to local customers, so unequal distribution of demand will be reflected differently for different markets.

    there are other dealers who will take walk-in customers.
