Everyone, say hello to Poncho Papadopoulos. She is a 6 week old pure bred Labrador. Got her from a breeder in Harvey Bay. Apparently, Poncho's Mum was a 'Grand Champion' Lab in 2008 and her Dad was a 'Grand Champion' in 2006. We recieved Poncho last night. She flew in from Brissy. Poor bugger had a big day, a rough ride in the plane and a restless night last night. She is doing great now. Took some pics this morning of her having a small nap. Pics now of her running around outside getting used to her new surroundings. She is SOOOOOOOO cute and so much fun too. Who needs kids when you have Poncho? Thanks guys. I already want to kill her. She is 'barricaded' in the laundry while I am sleeping because I am working nightshifts. She got 'out' and has chewed the USB cable that connects my camera to the computer. Also got a "POWER SURGE ON HUB PORT" popping up in a box. Anyone want a free puppy?
Nah mate, havent even heard of it. Yeah man, wanna buy her? I have heard that crap every week for the last 6 weeks from the breeder, so I thought I may as well share it with you guys! You're Mum is right, trust me.
Like I said before, Lab' pups are notorious for chewing up speaker leads and any others they get a chance at. You're going to get a lot more of that unless you get her some chew toys and teach her to play chew just those.
Thanks mate, I was sleeping when she did this. It seems my little barricade in the laundry didnt hold. If I seen her chewing that USB cable, I would have bashed her across the head with it. She has around $200 worth of chew toys, scattered ALL over the house. Have jammed one in her mouth now but she is more cotent with chewing my fingers. I am lucky thats ALL she chewed while I was sleeping. There are 20 power cords that she could chewed through, speaker leads, guitar leads etc....etc....
Poncho is very cute Pap, congrats. You will have many years together, and in my opnion they stay cute for a very long time. Our family Lab Christal is a black *****, I have many special memories of her, she is still alive but getting very old now. Great dogs. Keep her away from the 348, use the ute to teach her not to jump up......USB cables will seem very insignificant.
Thanks mate. Labs are the best! Got a good mate with one named Chloe, she is around 2 yrs old and a GREAT dog. Thats what got us interested in finally getting one. The 348 is tucked away nicely in the garage thank ****. I wont teach her to jump at all sadly. My front fence is only around 1m high, so I hope she doesnt get the inclination to jump the fence **** off down the road. USB cable is **** all, have some spare ones laying around.
I had a good mate with a b*itch called Chloe..... Gathering dust in the garage again.......hmmmm, I'm not suprised.... My mates Chloe did just that. Turned out to be for the best. What ya bit*chin about then?
