    I'm in the market for some stage lighting equipment .... PAR 56 or PAR 64, with dimmer controls, DMX, etc., for my band. I need 16 lights and the associated professional-level equipment. It won't have to be shipped to Kuwait, as I have a freight forwarding agreement with ARAMEX.

    Rather than go to Google and find a company selling... is there ANYONE here who sells this kind of equipment? Because of the forum rules, please send me a PM if you do.

    Also, I know that all of us buy stuff all the time... and many of those things we can wait on... why not give the guys a chance here to sell to you? Again, I would suggest PMs...

    MODS: if this is, for any reason, ill-advised or against the rules ... please delete this thread. I just thought, with the economy as it is, anyone who's selling something needs every available avenue to sell... this could be one...

    I have no affiliation with them, but I am a customer of cheaplights.com.

    I bought all my truss we use at trade shows from them, as well as various lighting doo-dads. Their service has always been great, and their prices speak for themselves. Not to step on the toes of any f-chatters who dabble in this, just an option.

    Ironic that you mention DMX dimmers... I've been working late the last several weeks designing a full color DMX dimmer system - including the hardware to do the dimming and the actual light elements themselves. Wouldn't really be applicable to your deal, since this is for high-end architectural lighting but ironic that the first time I have heard people talking about DMX "out in the wild" ends up being right here on f-chat.
