+1 But really, is there any company that offers "racing" or "track" insurance? Not only coverage for the car, but for personal injury/liability claims?
I know one guy who drives the black 430 spider, whom I used to see him several times on business at his office. The funny thing is when I observe through a window and in an underground garage, I always see all black high end cars only on a concealed private property. Black Ferrari, Porsche, Bentley, Rolls, Maserati, Aston, Benz, BMW, Jag, etc. All nothing but black only. He and his colleagues I usually call them "Dudes in Black" because they all must have a thing for black cars, black suits and black shades. LOL Also notice how oddly disciplined they all park their cars. They all are consistent to the left side next to a marker, which it is their superstitious ritual protocol thing. I once joked with the guy, if I will ever be banned from their lot because my car is not black? .... And if I park to the right side? (Imagine him getting stuck due to blocked driver's side door) Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, there are many that provide on-track damage and liability coverage to racing teams and professional drivers. For track days, you just have to pay to play.
While cruising on Davenport Rd. at Avenue Rd. I spotted this brand spankin new 16M. Anybody here? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I sold this car last summer, zeeshan you may remember it as STRICKY'S but now take a look at it! Image Unavailable, Please Login
He apparentley put some crazy exhaust on as well as painted the wheels black and what looks like a LP640 body kit and obviously the black wrap all for the Bullrun 3000 he's competing in as we type! actually last day is tommorow ending in Miami.
just found this online hope he doesn't mind http://www.vividracing.com/blog/project-cars/project-murcielago-getting-started-for-gumball-3000/
i'm not talking about the ****ty one on tv hosted by goldberg i'm talking about the REAL GUMBALL 3000 which started may 1st in L.A and finishes tommorow in Miami. Trust me i'm 100% there was someone in the lambo section whos co-driver backed out last minute and I was in the running to be his new co-pilot until I mentioned to him about getting some good karma on his side by letting me go instead of trying to get $5000 out of me and i guess it got him thinking and he took one of his childhood friends instead.
I know very well what your talking about, the thing on Tv is Bullrun and we are talking about Gumball 3000. I have acouple friends who did the run this year and it Started may 1st and finished may 8th, aka Saturday. Its a week long. There are tons of pictures already of the end stop in Miami. Here's a picture of Donnie's car in Miami: http://www.flickr.com/photos/markmargulies/3516602220/sizes/l/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/markmargulies/sets/72157617955848302/
you know what, Donnie said he wanted his car shipped back on the 13th so i just assumed it was over on the 12th, i guess he's decided to stay after the rally and SLEEP after all that driving!
I saw Donnie's black Lambo when it was grey and no wing in Forza's place being prepared for this. They did exhaust, computers, tuning, and kevlar clutch - nice work......that car is bullet proof now - that's because they have a mechanic who is with the Forza "shoemaker" team - take a look at the plate covers on the vivid site - should have left them on, Steve's don't melt on a Lambo!
