What are some of the pilot style watches in the first display pic? High end IWC? Affordable Debaufre? Just curious...
Chris - Under the glass in the picture with your "no brainer of the day," there are some Luminox's. When are they going on special in this thread (Luminox EVO Navy SEAL Colormark with green specifically)?
The guys out at the desert warfare training center wear trasers, not luminox, but they are pretty watches to play 'dress up' in lol
If I was playing dress up, I'd probably wear one of my IWC's; and if I was in the desert probably my ancient Casio G-Shock. LOL!
I will THROW in a Wolf Designs single 1.5 Winder with the purchase of this INVICTA if purchased TODAY!!!! And your choice of Black or Brown! (we no longer carry the tan one in the pic) Image Unavailable, Please Login

This deserves it's own thread! But I thought I would just post a few pics here. GORGEOUS!! Look at it next to the quarter! Amazingly thin...manual wind of course. Guess the brand and I have something special for ya Let's play .... NAME THAT WATCH!!! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Its very thin, so I'd guess Patek. But there is no Geneva seal on the movement. Plus the crown wouldn't be correct. Manual winder......Hum... Gruen would be my guess
longines is my guess. After looking at some pictures of their mov'ts I have my doubts. This is tough.
The base movement was something apparently developed by Audemars Piguet as the Cal 2003 and VC as the Cal 1003. JLC (Cal 849) and Patek Phillipe (Cal 175) also made or had derivative movements, but they were 18 or 19 jewels and slightly thinner than the original. However, there are slight differences in the bridge shapes, and other small things, from pics I found; further all these mfrs would have a lot more engraving and finishing on movements with their brand on it, so probably not them. I did find what appears a pretty good match to the movement, as far as bridge shapes and similar finish level, but not exactly the same engraving, marked as a Bueche-Girod (JD-211). See pic 1 compared to pic 2 (dupe of VTC's photo). It's possible that another watchmaker also used the same movement and marked it slightly differently, since it seems to have been one of the 2 or 3 popular thin movement bases, but I can't pin it down any further.
