We also have the 16M Stripe available now.
Posted the first one to an F-Chatter in Canada last week.
He was getting it fitted with a clear bra, would post some pictures when it was done.
It's not on the website yet, but you can order the 16M Stripe the same as the Scuderia custom color ones, $495 less 10% FChat discount.
We supply it in 4 segments as usual, enough to do a coupe, with a spare hood segment in case of stone chips.

I know it's difficult to tell from the picture, but does it have the black edging and the high gloss clear finish ?
It looks a bit dull in the picture.
Just curious what other people provide.

 

I thought his stripe looked really good in person.

Sorry John, I posted, but didn't really answer your question.
We can do any color combination you want in the Scuderia Stripe.
The edging is a bit dependent on your car color, black looses its effectiveness on black or very dark colors.
Special orders are supplied the same as our standard products, with four 4 foot long segments including a spare hood segment and the same high gloss clear coat finish.

any scud stripes on a 360 spider ???
I have a red tan and looking to have the charcoal or black stripe installed. any pics ???

 

I'm considering getting this done. How well does this wear over time? The factory stripes are under the clearcoat, so with this over the paint are you guys seeing it bubble up in corners and the back where much heat is?

 

We have sold the CS Stripe for a few years now and we have had no problem with them lifting or anything.
As long as it is fitted professionally and no air is left under the Stripe, it's only stone chips that will ultimately require you to replace it, but that is why we supply the spare front segment with all our Stripes. When you decide to repaint the front, you just replace the Stripe at the same time. Of course, you can touch up our Stripe the same as you would a factory Stripe when it gets stone chips. However, the high gloss clear coat on our Stripes, which is a thinner version of the material used for clear bras, is very resilient, it actually resists a lot of the smaller stone chips that would normally damage your paint.

I have used Brenden's stripe and it works and looks great. What I did, I placed a clear bra over the stripe. Not only It protected the stripe, it gave an extra shine (clearcoat look). and please use a professional (clear bra installer). I had it on for two years and still looked great.
I removed it yesterday and no problem with the paint either.
