At this point in time, anything is possible, although I question Gene as the first choice.

I can read some of it (can understand it) and will extract the points.

Kimi R. can go - already under this years season

    ---

Ferrari will reveal his successor in Monza - taking over immiedetley.
(...then some chat about how he screwed up in the Barcelona GP)

    Successor is ready
Italian and German media have been writing for a long time about F. Alonso beeing their first choice from 2011, a claim that even Torro Rossos ex-team chief, the old Ferrari-driver Gerhard Berger, confirms.
But BBC and the newspaperDaily Star have indicated the changes even earlier than that.
The Daily Star and the German TV-channel RTL have indicated that the world champion of 2007 would be replaced by testdriver Marc Gene. The reason is that the fin is too demotivated and haven't won anything since Barcelona (and then some chat about previous results).

The replacement will be revealed in September
BBC also claims/indicates that Raikonnens successor will be revealed in Monza in September.
In 2010, Alonso will sit in the Ferrari: -I think so as well, sais Gerhard Berger to Sport Bild.
-When I was in charge of the team at Torro Rosso team I asked F. Alonso many times about the season of that year, but he was very clear that he had something big for 2010 coming up and that could only mean Ferrari, nothing else.
And by the way, the spanish bank Santander will be sponsing Ferrari from 2010 - they sponsored McLaren under Alonsos time there.

Puh, translation takes time! Hope you've enjoyed it. :p

Bring on Marc and, in turn, 'nando.

As for the comment about "Kimi being too demotivated" I can only smirk. At this rate, Domenicali only has a year and a half to get his act together...

Both drivers suck this season, go spend 50 million and clone Schumacher and get him in the car.

The way I understand it is that Kimi will quit and Marc Gene will be at the wheel until Kimi's successor will join the team in Monza...?

Kimi will only drive for this season, Alonso will get a Ferrari seat...

The successor will be revealed in Monza...

Sorry for the confusion. I'll try to find BBC articles on this.

can't see them replacing Kimi during the season. It just doesn't make sense and he's been doing better than Massa this year IMO.

I agree. Would be a shame to see Kimi go prematurely, Hopefully I can scrape some money together for another GP this season to see him in action 1 last time!

I'd guess Ferrari know the F60 isn't going to be good with any driver? Only thing I can think of. Could put Jos Verstappen in there and the results would be the same.

Alonso would be a fool to sign with that what is now a train wreck of a team known as Ferrari . Unless, Flavio comes with him as the new Ferrari Team Principal...

Yes, while Kimi enjoys his newspaper, slippers and the remainder of his Ferrari retainer. Although Gene was one of very few to score a point in the Minardi, there has to be at least 20 talented worthy prospects who'd probably pay for the drive.

YES!!! I agree with this statement. It makes the whole thing fit together for FERRARI, for the future. Both men are tried and true, with World Championships, in their past achievements. But most important, they still have the FIRE, within them to succeed.

    Ciao...Paolo
