I was recently offered a set for 750Euros - about $1100 which I thought was expensive.

Around $900-$1,000. I fully agree with Nathan that this is expensive, and IMO not worth it since every edition has the exact same contents.

If you have one of these brochures and look on the first page it describes the nature of the book, 559 sets and nine colors total. If you try to find this set you will only come up with eight of the nine colors ?! Today I just heard that there are no Martha's Vineyard (burgandy) brochures in US print, or maybe at all. Does this typo in the book make the set of eight worth more by any chance?

I have not yet determined if the color was printed and available only in certain markets i.e. Europe...

    your thoughts?

    Hi Friends and Collectors,

    Here the differnet versions:

    Superamerica - Aspen - white - 559 pieces

    Superamerica - Palm Spings - gold - 559 pieces

    Superamerica - Palm Beach – marble - 559 pieces

    Superamerica - Nantucket – black - 559 pieces

    Superamerica - Martha`s Wineyard - red - 559 pieces

    Superamerica - Santa Fe – yellow - 559 pieces

    Superamerica - Aspen - The Hamptons – silver - 559 pieces

    Superamerica - La Jolla – grey - 559 pieces

Superamerica - Carmel - red – given to media at presentation in Monte Carlo

The really rare one is the Carmel one. As far as I know the sets don`t contain the same print numbers (e.g. Aspen 5/559 and La Jolla 156/559)

You could order the sets at the Ferrari dealers at the time. Here in Germany they were a round 320 Euros per set if I remember right. I think you don`t have to pay more than 50 Euros per brochure. The Carmel might go for double.

    Best wishes

I recall Ferrari charged there dealers about $50 per book.
The carmel addition was only available at the press launch and never made available to dealers.
As such it tends to command quite a premium ($150-200)
The official Ferrari store did have a limited number of the 9 edition sets in a special slip case, but I seem to recall these were sold at around 800euros
