Parking on hardwood - is this overkill?

I came across a construction site, apparently they ripped out the squash or racket ball courts. It is hardwood on top of some plywood, thickness is about 3 inches. I thought it would be a good idea to grab 4 sheets of this and lay it out in my garage floor and park the 348 on it over the winter to keep it off the concrete. The third picture is a set of ramps I made so that I can drive on and off this thing easily. My wife and friends thinks I am a fanatic, but I told her and them that "anything that is good for the 348 is good for us"

What do you guys think of this? Am I going overboard?

I had that in mind but we get heavy winters here so the snow coming off my daily driver would would eventually kill the hardwood it is on, plus then it would run over to where the 348 is sitting and make a mess of the car cover which touches the floor.

Just to keep it off the concrete, and hopefully the wood would take most of the moisture/humidity and keep it away from the car. Also, as mentioned, a way to keep the snow that turns to slush/water that runs off my daily driver away from my 348 and its car cover.

 

I realize that, but its intent has nothing to do with appearance/looks etc, it is purely for keeping keeping the car off the concrete over the winter. I do not have them there over the summer, only when the car is stored for the winter season.
