Check directly with Longstone but I believe their tires are fairly priced...

    7,5" front SV wheels ? (instead of original 7" P400 & P400S std wheels)

I meant to say, correct. At any rate, SV fronts & rears.

Illustration based on Miura number one... note 'eyelashes' which raise with headlamps, passenger mirror canted toward driver, Plexiglas hood cover cutouts (and slats), air-box spec, and rear hood lock nut. Supercool.

It's interesting how thin the roof line is, maximizing the window area in a very low cabin. I wonder how much the GT40 influenced the design of the Miura?

    Cheers,
    Paul

Gandini says it did, and the windscreen for example has an uncanny resemblance in shape.

When I was repainting my car I spent an hour trying to find a spot where I could place the wing mirrors so they would actually be useful. I gave up when I realized that they either needed to be placed so far forward that they would be perched right at the crest of the front fender, ruining the line of the hood, or they would have to be canted at very different angles, which looked goofy. So I just bolted them on in the straight position where they looked correct, and resolved to crane my neck from the driver's seat whenever I need to use them. Ahh, the life of a Miura owner.

    Thank-you so much Joe !

On my P400S, no logos at all on these 6 switches - but apparently, same functions.
I don't know from which chassis number the logos did appear on the roof console rocker switches ?

I shot a series and they are on a disc somewhere but here is a particularly good one that shows it off as it is... gold sills and wheels were introduced as an option for the P400SV variant...

I think it would look even better with the spinners painted in gold as well.

Standard production was for the spinners to remain unpainted, typically nickel-plated.
